Beautiful setting!

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
I loved the setting and the location. 10-15 minute walk to the Falls, but a guide is suggested. Breakfast was fabulous. However, the bathrooms need upgrading....there were no handles on the walls for showers and since the tub is elevated a bit, it made it extremely hard to enter and exit the tub. Slipped getting in and have a bruise on my inner thigh. Faucets need maintenance (low cold water pressure in tub-low hot water pressure in face bowl). Furniture in the main building also needs serious attention. Staff was very attentive and helpful. We had a room facing the gorge/bridge and it was nice to wake up to. Also, there were little monkeys playing on the roof of an adjacent building, so it was fun to watch and photograph. These same monkeys will also look into your room windows, so must always have them closed! There is A/C so that is not a problem! We visited at the end of October, 2011.

Old world charm and service

Pros: Quiet, location charm and elegance
The Victoria Falls Hotel is a beautiful elegant piece of history. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. It is the perfect hotel to visit Victoria Falls.
