Good hotel - not so good breakfast.

Traveling through town. All was great except the breakfast. It's a full hot buffet but the eggs and meats didn't taste right. We had to dump our plates in the trash and went out to eat.

Very welcoming

Check-in was very easy and was greeted with a very welcoming attitude. Pool was clean and inviting. Beds were comfortable but they could use more comfortable pillows. Most were flat. I usually bring my own though. The only reason for less stars in comfort was the ac was not working properly in our room and it got a little too warm for our liking during the night. Breakfast was nice and had ample seating in the dining area. Over all, it was a pleasant experience and would definitely go back.

Already missing the breakfast!

Nice & Spacious with pretty good interior design. Dove soap, shampoo, conditioner, & lotion are available, & w/ my deluxe room I got a TV with streaming services. Breakfast was soo good & was THE highlight for me. Chorizo, refried beans, eggs, tortillas, & more. I didn’t go to the pool but it looked clean from my window, pretty big with modern decor. Favorite hotel in Victoria so far.

I’ve stayed at La Quinta properties quite often over the last 5 years. In general, if it is a new one you are good to go. When they go thru a refresh as required to keep the La Quinta flag, I find that the work in general is sub par and that the old fixtures in the bathrooms, and old doors show their age and are rarely maintained properly. Hotel elevator was grimey and needs a face lift along with refresh of the doors & elevator controls. My room was clean, but the carpet had stains that needed to be addressed.

Hotel elevator broke during our stay. There were food scraps and bugs in the stairwell. Hotel was not very clean. Staff was very kind a helpful.

Elevator out of service- had to carry luggage to 2nd floor. That’s not good with knee replacements. All ice machines on floors were out of service. Our bedding was stained with brown stains. Breakfast- yogurt machine out of yogart. No one to refill food as it runs out. Bad experience. We should get a discount for sure.

This was by far the best lq on my trip! Loved it all, especially the Drinking water at the entrance, the 24\7 coffee and the grassy area in the back was perfect. The young man at check-in was 5 star too. Friendly , efficient, and helpful!
