Very clean suite, great view, semi-private
We spent 9 days in the Victoria area and this was one place we stayed. When you drive up the hill and then walk in, you are immediately taken by the amazing view of downtown Victoria and harbors. There are windows along the back wall facing the view - it's gorgeous. This unfortunately posed a problem, however, when the afternoon sun beat down and the shades were not enough to keep the suite cool with no A/C. When we were there, it was quite hot and my husband noted the temp in the suite was above 80 F, making it quite uncomfortable. When we figured out we could open some windows, the temp dropped closer to mid to upper 70's. If the weather is cooler, this wouldn't be an issue - just happened to be hot when we were there. The suite is very clean and super modern. We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen was well-appointed (although not an over-abundance of pans, glasses, etc, it was fine for the two of us). The suite is physically attached to the house where the owner and family live. You park just to the left of the owner's car and front door and the back patio is shared as well. The TV is limited to only Netflix - we missed having a more abundant selection of channels like we did in other places we stayed. Overall, this suite is very clean, modern and the view is gorgeous. In cooler weather I'm sure it would be very comfortable.
