The Property would not honor the reservation I made on Travelocity and check in. So I basically lost the money that was spent.

They didn’t have my reservations. I had to locate a different place on my own since I still have not been able to get ahold of anyone at Travelocity to get my money back or get help to locate another hotel for the weekend!

A touch of elegance in the desert.

Pros: The managers were helpful. The rooms had mini-fridges, coffee-makers, and in the "family suite" of three beds, there was a microwave and table.
Cons: Coffee-makers had no cups -- also, no coffee. New TV in single room should be in the family suite; old TV couldn't be used with laptops or games.
Location: On old Route 66 near Apple Valley, about half an hour from Barstow, where there are more tourist attractions.
We stayed three days, got a room with three queen-size beds which was perfect for three grown-up brothers to relax in. Too cold to use the pool, but I admired the furniture at the pool, and the gazebo next to the front entrance. They made an effort to decorate this motel in a personal way, rather than in the plain, functional style of a chain motel. No breakfast, but that's a feature I don't use in motels anyway.

Good low budget option

Pros: Rooms clean, beds comfortable with plenty of pillows.
Cons: Shower/tub needed some repairs, but was clean and functional.
Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is older but rooms are clean and management has added nice touches to make the rooms pretty. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. I had heard some negative things about this hotel after I had booked the room by a friend we were meeting while in the area. The friend came to visit us and was pleasantly surprised by the condition and cleanliness of our room. I would recommend Travel Inn and Suites to anyone on a tight budget and needing a room for a night or two in the Victorville area.

No Breakfast and things missing.

When we arrived at 10:30 pm we had to wait for someone to come to the front reception. Then we went to our room. Room was decent, but only half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. No tissue box. No coffee cups or coffee for the coffee maker. Expected to eat a breakfast in the morning before hitting the road, but when we went to ask at the reception, (again rang buzzer and had to wait) she said no breakfast. Nice! My kids look forward to that. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this to anyone. I did give 3 for room comfort and cleanliness because they appeared clean, and there was three beds for my family of 6. Everything else was disappointing.

we had an enjoyable stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We enjoyed our stay here so much so that we didn't really venture out much while here. I would recommend this place to friends and family and would stay here again myself.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Made a reservation and traveled 4.5 hrs to Victorville. Upon my arrival I expected to receive a room, however to my suprise the hotel had given my reservation away to a walk-in who apparently paid more money. So to recap, I had a reservation, but b/c a walk-in came in and paid more money the hotel so gladly gave my room to them. So at midnight I was roomless in a strange town. Don't think I'm the only one. I've checked other sites and other people have written the same review saying this has happend to them as well with this hotel. Hmmm?

Room was not what I expected

Nice room but extras I booked it for did not work or was not there. Wanted coffee pot in room for coffee early in morning because l leave earlier than office opens for coffee. Have coffee pot, but nothing else - no coffee, cups. Washed hair and then found out hair dryer does not work. Finally foud a socket by door that would work so I did not have to leave with wet hair. Did not sleep well on the mattress as it was covered in plastic and every time you turned or moved you made noise. You get what you pay for.....be wary of extras offerred.....sound great but at times don't work out.

Okay for one night, maybe...

Staff was friendly and generally helpful, however, that does not make up for some of the short comes of this motel. The room we had was a king room, which was jam packed with gaudy, mismatched, unnecessary furniture. The mattress had a plastic cover over it, which makes me wonder if they'd had a bedbug problem. The cover did not make for a good night's sleep. In the morning, I needed to ice for our cooler (we were traveling with a toddler, which means keeping milk cool) but, unfortunately the ice machine had a sign that ice was available only at the office. No one was readily available, so I had to wait a while to get a few cubes of ice. While I waited, I had a look @ the offered breakfast, which consisted of coffee, cereal and donuts-not a hot breakfast as their listing proffers.
