The Blue House is located on the coast of the historic center of Vila Franca do Campo, is a house facing the sea, the beach and facing the islet of Vila Franca, thus being able to enjoy a magnificent view of all the windows of the house and the constant sound of the sea.
also having a magnificent terrace where you can relax and feel the sea breeze from the sea, as the distance from the house to the sea and the beach is 4 m. It is an extremely pleasant and welcoming house, decorated mainly in white and blue tones so trying to be in tune with its surroundings, sea and beach.
As the house is inserted in the village everything is close to it and can thus enjoy the surrounding shops, grocery, bakery, market, cafes, restaurants and even kiosks that sell a magnificent machine ice cream without having to travel by car.
In addition to the beach which is in front of the house, it can also move the foot to the nearby beach was d'Areia that is magnificent and the way the foot is also very nice and this always by the sea and through the village fishing port France, where you can take the boat to spend a beautiful beach day at islander or just visit it, since it has a magnificent natural beauty, and a protected area.

Parfaite terrasse avec vue sur l’OcĂ©an

Maison propre, grande, soignĂ©e, hyper bien Ă©quipĂ©e pour cuisiner, dormir (literie et oreillers si confortables), terrasse Ă  faire rĂȘver. Site vraiment trĂšs ressourçant. Quel bonheur d’y ĂȘtre, bercĂ©s par le bruit des vagues. Et les hĂŽtes Ă©taient si attentionnĂ©s. Ils nous y ont accueillis, nous ont apportĂ© de pain frais pour dĂ©jeuner, et ont vite repondu et solutionnĂ© notre panne d’électricitĂ©.

Emplacement idéal pour un séjour aux Açores. La superbe vue de la terrasse est inoubliable !!!!

Maison totalement rénovée, conviviale et trÚs confortable. Equipements au Top, vaisselle, électroménager, et super BBQ sur la terrasse. Accueil trÚs chaleureux des propriétaires avec un panier de produits locaux délicieux . Tout a été parfait, nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour dans La Maison Bleue.

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen, zu unserer Zeit hat uns leider eine Baustelle vor der TĂŒr ĂŒberrascht. Diese sollte aber sicher schnell wieder verschwunden sein, so dass maximale Erholung garantiert sein wird.

The 2nd and 3rd floors are outstanding. The sleeping area on the bottom floor can be a little damp and clamy but the dehumidifier and fan helped.

Beautiful house in great location

The blue house was very well located and had a beautiful view of the ocean. It’s set up as three small floors- the bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor which makes it a hard to open all the windows, so that floor gets a little stuffy and humid. The second floor is the kitchen and living room with pretty and large windows looking over the ocean and the third floor is the terrace. There was a very nice tiny beach right below the blue house that my kids loved playing in. Also, the town was very nice for walking around and getting a coffee. The check in process was easy. My only suggestion for improvement was a higher attention to detail- for example, there was a washing machine, but no detergent (which I bought). There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods. A bunch of random shampoo bottles were there, seemingly left over from prior tenants, instead of a quality shampoo/soap being provided. No beach towels provided, and the quality of the sheets was so-so. I feel like for this price point, (based on other places I stayed in the Azores) those details should be attended to. That being said, the house itself was otherwise very pleasant as a base to explore Sao Miguel.

Lovely Home

The Blue House is a lovely home with fantastic views from the deck. The location was ideal for us. We could walk to several restaurants and the marina. We made use of the nearby dive shop to dive the coastline. It was easy to explore both ends of the island from this central location. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and enjoyed a delicious basket of local foods. Our stay was exceptional and I can highly recommend the Blue House.

Perfect!

My husband and I, along with our toddler daughter, had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Blue House. The house was so clean, comfortable, modern, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The location is amazing - the views are unbeatable and it’s easy to get anywhere on the island with a car (and you can also walk to grocery stores, restaurants, the marina, etc.). We will remember our idyllic time at the Blue House for years to come - thank you!

Einfach perfektes Blue House

Das Blue House ist ein perfekt gelegenes, modern eingerichtetes Haus fĂŒr einen tollen Urlaub auf der wunderschönen Insel SĂŁo Miguel. Die Bilder entsprechen dem Objekt. GĂ€ste werden beim Check-in sehr freundlich begrĂŒĂŸt und erhalten einen Korb lokaler Produkte. TĂ€glich werden frische Brötchen geliefert. Der Hausstrand liegt vor dem Haus und ist fĂŒr die gesamte Familie nutzbar. Von dem Haus aus kann man alle Ausflugsziele einfach und schnell erreichen. Muito obrigad an Helder, Isidro und Sandra fĂŒr Ihre Gastfreundschaft und das schöne Blue House!

Perfect location for family with teens

We loved the Blue House! We thought we might regret being in a town rather than rural but it couldn’t have been more perfect. The town is lovely and authentic; the beach is steps away; and small cafes and gelato nearby too!

Wonderful holiday rental

Our family of three just spent an amazing week at the Blue House. It was the perfect base for our first visit to the Azores. The house is lovely and spacious, and the owners have thought of everything you might need for a perfect holiday. The location makes exploration of the island very easy. Nearby beach and excellent restaurants were perfect! Thanks so much to Sandra the property manager who met us at the door, gave us local recommendations and was very responsive to our needs.

Wonderful on every level

We absolutely loved blue house. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean and has the best view. The hospitality and communication was excellent, even down to daily complimentary bread deliveries. Villa Franco do campo is an excellent location to base yourself with everything within easy driving distance and the isle is well worth a visit( would advise you to book tickets on line well in advance to avoid queues). Highly recommended, would love to come again.

Wonderful Blue House

The Blue House is a wonderful place to spent the holidays. The house is 100 steps away from a small and nice beach. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. Close to the house you can find shops and restaurants. The Blue House has everything you need: a well equiped kitchen, towels, internet, a lot of space and a breathtaking terrasse. But the best are the very helpful and nice hosts, Sandra and Isidro. We can highly recommend the Blue House, especially with children.

This is a wonderful house with all amenities located with a great view of the ocean. We loved having coffee in the town center or on the rooftop overlooking the ocean. This is a beautiful property in a superb location

Everything about the Blue House is fabulous! In fact it is such a classy and comfortable property that we found it hard to go out some days! The interior is high spec throughout with a very contemporary feel. The exterior consists of a small courtyard downstairs and a superb rooftop terrace that allows you to enjoy the amazing view of the volcano off the coast. If you stay here you will not be disappointed .Vila Franca is a quiet, low key town town with a wonderfully traditional atmosphere. It also has a great beach for families. We fell in love with this island - but leaving the Blue House broke our hearts! Thank you so much Helder, Sandra and Isidro for such a wonderful welcome.

Traumurlaub! - Traumwohnung! - Traumgastgeber!

Das Blue House ist wie die Insel selbst ein blauer Traum! - Das Haus scheint frisch saniert zu sein und wird sauber ĂŒbergeben. FĂŒr HandtĂŒcher, Bettlaken, Kissen, etc. ist in großen Mengen vorgesorgt. Die Lage ist perfekt, insofern man vorhat die komplette Insel mit dem Auto zu erkunden. Zu jedem anderem Ende der Insel sind es ca. 20-30 min einfache Fahrt. In Vila Franca selbst gibt es die Insel (wie auf den Bildern zu sehen) und den Hafen, von dem aus man die wesentlichen Touren buchen kann. Die Gastgeber sind fĂŒr den ganzen Aufenthalt ĂŒber immer ansprechbar gewesen und stets eine gute Anlaufstelle fĂŒr einheimische Tipps. Werden immer wieder gerne kommen! - Novamente, muito obrigado a todos! :)
