This property is a cute home with all the amenities you'd want in your own home. You're within 10-30 minutes of a large variety of hiking trails, waterfalls, restaurants, and tourist attractions. We definitrly enjoyed our stay very much!

Return Visit

This was our second time staying at this house. We just can't beat the location for the events we are in town for. I do not like climbing mountain roads so this has a great quiet setting without the hassle which is perfect. You can get to the store in less than 5 min. Restaurants, trails, shopping are all very convenient. The host is so responsive. I misplaced the email with the door code and got a response via text very quickly and didn't miss a beat. I would be glad if we returned another time to stay here a third time.

Family Friendly cozy house

The house and space were exactly like the listing and pictures. The house was cozy and stocked very well with a wonderful location. We were impressed with all the little touches that made our stay easy and enjoyable. The kids loved the game room/garage and all the games that were available in the house. Everyone loved the fire pit and the adults loved the hot tub. It is a perfect place for families and has everything you need for a wonderful mountain vacation. We loved it and would stay here again!

Great Location for Activities

The house is in such a great location for people like me. I love mountain towns and exploring but not a huge fan of treacherous roads required to get to a lot of houses in the area. This house is perfectly situated close to the highway up to the mountains or in to town for shopping, dining, and other sites. The house was clean and well supplied with necessities. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The front porch was a great place for morning coffee. I would definitely come back when we are in this area again.

We enjoyed zip lining at Hawksnest, mystery mountain, diner at Banner Elk Lodge and visiting our Neice on summer break from Appalachian. Also relaxing at the house playing corn hole and ping pong. Overall great stay.

Impressive!

This space was perfect for our family of 7! Close to skiing & hiking. The house was modern & beautiful inside (Don’t judge by the outside). Hot tub, fire pit & game room were fantastic! We would rent here again.

Great house!

We had a fantastic stay! Definitely would stay here again. House was super clean. Plenty of room. Hot tub and fire pit were awesome and the garage game room was a hit with the teenagers! (And adults!) Not far from anything really. Owner is super nice. Management company took over a week to respond to emails. That was frustrating as we were trying to plan.

This property was poorly represented in the add.

There were torn lamps, dirty and torn rug in the laundry room, and very dark lighting. ( completely different than the pictures in their add) The gameroom smelled like mold...couldn't even use it. The outdoor space was nice and hot tub clean. The amount of money we spent was definitely not worth it. There is a reason why there is no pictures of the outside represented.

Great location and features

This house is located 20 mins to Sugar and 40 mins to Beech for skiing. Just off the main road but on a quite residential street. Beds were comfortable and house was spacious. Hot tub, fire pit and garage were great spots to hang out and relax after a day of skiing. Kitchen is well stocked with the essentials.

Wonderful place

We had a great stay here over thanksgiving. Location is wonderful, plenty of space for 8 and the kitchen was stocked well. Hot tub was clean and the kids enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!!!

Highly recommended

This week lace was clean, comfortable and had a variety of activities for adults and children. All amenities and appliances were in working order and the hot water never went cold. I definitely recommend this home.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Very well appointed. We made several meals and everything we needed was there. Very small suggestions: add a bath mat to the restroom (not sure about guest bath, but there wasn't one in the master). Consider adding mattress toppers to the bunk beds and guest room. I found the master bed to be nice, but others mentioned their mattresses were kind of hard. Additionally, consider updating the pillows. They are a little bit flat. Finally, maybe add another component or two to the game room: corn hole, air hockey, foosball, or an arcade game. These are all very minor suggestions. We had an excellent stay. I especially appreciated the white noise machine; it helped me sleep like a baby. We didn't use the games, but appreciated that you had such a wide variety available. The hot tub was well cared for and in working order. Overall, thumbs up and highly recommend!
