VILNIUS LONG WEEKEND
We were 3 adults going to Vilinius for the first time. Gerimantas met us at the airport which was a most conveniant beginning for the whole stay. The house is excellent, and the location perfect for going into the old town. 10 min drive with an Uber, and approx 10EUR. A huge supermarket is only 5 min walk from the house, and the kitchen is well equipped. We had lots of good food! Sunny days allowed us to spend time in the cosy garden with terrace. It was green with flowers an very private. The house is clean and practical in all resepects with two large and delicate bathrooms. Large comfy beds too. We really recommend Trakai castle. It is in a beatiful area only 30-40 min away. We took an Uber out, but did not find any for the return. So we took public bus. Most important for the good experience was Gerimantas with wife and son that we also met, made the stay so enjoyable. English language was no problem at all. We hope to be back some day :-)
