The island also has a rich history and culture, with remnants of medieval churches and fortifications still on display. The centre of Vir offers a wide range of restaurants, cafés and bars where visitors can enjoy local cuisine and wines. Moreover, various excursions are available in the area, such as visiting the nearby towns of Zadar and Nin.
