Apartment guard room in the manor near Dresden for 6 adults + baby

Directly on the village pond located manor newly built in Mediterranean style. The offered apartment has 81 m² and is equipped with bathroom, hall, kitchen, two children's rooms including 4 beds, balcony, living area and bedroom with 2x2m King-size bed for the parents. A cot for a toddler is available in addition. In the park you will find a large chess and a ping-pong table. Experience the probably unique new building of a manor.

Since my guards wanted to pacify a feud in the area at the time, I was able to get the commander of the manor to promise to accommodate guests in the guardhouse.
You can use the commander's room, the guards' kitchen, the lounge and the sleeping quarters of the gatekeepers.
However, the guards have left behind some of their weapons.
Enjoy the unique atmosphere and let us all hope that the guards will not come back early.

Great Experience
I was able to keep where we were staying a secret from the family. They were blown away - the decorations are done with love for detail and at the same time, there is plenty of comfort and a quality experience (e.g., nice shower, toys for small kids, tea bags, laundry detergent, ...). The kids thought staying in a castle was the coolest thing ever. Yes, there is still a crane but there was no construction going on when we were present, so no noise or other problems.

Wohnen wie Ritter und Prinzessinnen
Wir kamen aus dem Erstaunen gar nicht raus - die Zimmer sind dermaßen phantasievoll eingerichtet, dass es einem leicht fällt, sich in die Rolle eines Ritters oder einer Prinzessin zu versetzen. Für die Kinder ist es Paradies pur: In jedem Schrank - schöne und spannende Kinderbücher, Spiele, Ausmalbücher; im Kinderzimmer - 3 Kisten voll mit Bauklötzen, Autos, Lego... Draußen ist ein kleiner aber feiner Spielplatz angelegt. Wir, Erwachsene, waren ebenfalls fasziniert vom wunderbaren Schlafgemach mit einem hohen und bequemen Doppelbett, dunklen, verzierten Schränken und all dem Deko. Die Küche ist eher spartanisch eingerichtet (aber mit allem, was man für eine kleine Mahlzeit braucht), dafür gibt es in der Umgebung genug Möglichkeiten, auswärts zu essen. Das Badezimmer ist auch schön, die Dusche hat sogar Massagedüsen! Auf dem kleinen Balkon kann man sich mit einer Tasse Kaffee schön entspannen. Der Besitzer ist ein sehr aufgeschlossener, interessierter, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Der Kontakt inkl. Einchecken verlief super. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, sowohl fußläufig als auch mit dem Fahrrad/Auto sind diverse Natur- und Kultursehenswürdigkeiten erreichbar. Wir hoffen sehr, dass Herr Freiherr von Maltzahn all seine Visionen verwirklichen kann, die so viele seiner Mieter begeistern werden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein paar Mängel
Der Abfluss in der Dusche läuft extrem langsam ab. Wenn 5 Leute hintereinander duschen wollen, wird das schon kritisch. Vor der Wohnung war selbst auf einem Samstag ordentlich Lärm durch Baustelle. Das Wohnzimmer ist so dunkel, dass man selbst tagsüber dort das Licht anhaben muss.

Urlaub in der Wachstube
Wir waren im Oktober 2022 für eine Woche auf dem Rittergut und haben in der Wachstube gewohnt. Im Inserat ist nicht erwähnt, dass die Wohnung mit einer steilen Treppe über 2 Etagen geht und das das „Wohnzimmer“ innen liegend ohne Tageslichteinfall ist. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist zumindest diese Wohnung nicht geeignet. Ansonsten ist die Wachstube mit vielen Details versehen. Für uns war außerdem die Temperierung der Wohnung nicht zufriedenstellend. Ich habe Verständnis, dass bei den aktuellen Gaskosten über jedes Grad nachgedacht werden muss. Die Wohnung wird per App ferngeheizt, als Urlauber besteht keine Möglichkeit die Temperatur zu regulieren. Auch das ist bei einem Aufenthalt mit kleinen Kindern nicht schön, wir haben die Kinder in der Wohnung wärmer angezogen als zum Wandern. Um das Gut herum ist noch viel zu tun, das sieht man auf keinem der Bilder. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt.
