Dayton overnight

Eight of us (3 adults, 5 kids) stayed here after a day on the mountain at Bluewood ski resort. The front desk gentleman was really helpful and kind. The breakfast was perfect for our brood of kiddos.

The room was nice but a little pricey. When i initially arrived at the property, I wasn't able to check in right away. There was no one at the desk, and there was a sign saying to pick up the phone on another desk to alert them. I completely understand being short-staffed and the employees having to be away from the desk to do other tasks, but when i picked up the indicated phone, there was just a busy signal. I tried several times and was unable to reach a person. I left for about half an hour and came back. When I returned, there was someone at the desk and I was able to check in smoothly, though the attendant did not give me directions to the location of my room.
