Nice studio in a quiet park but quite far from Wanaka for those who like young festivities...
Nice welcome but no free wifi and the kitchen gear is a bit limited...
On the way to Treble Cone resort...
Our unit was well appointed and very clean. The mattress on the queen bed was quite worn and could stand to be replaced. The area was orderly and we used the laundry, which was fine. We were disappointed that on the second day the internet was out because someone had cut the line. Unforeseen, but inconvenient.
The family apartment we stayed in was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. It was nice having a small decked area to sit out on and enjoy the surroundings. The facilities on site were good and was great having a swimming pool for my teenage kids.
Very spartan- a bit like a cell block- not charming, but clean and quiet. Bathrooms are like dormitory bathrooms.. useful for budget travelers, but lacking in charm or esthetic.
A lovely campsite away from the main hub of the town, nestled in the mountains. Nice and quiet in general but if youâre in the room right next door to the kitchen and toilets as I was, you do hear a constant flow of people that congregate outside your cabin which is a little off putting.
Cozy and warm rooms in the basic cabins. Electric blankets a bonus! Pool is much smaller than advertised! But just swim in the lake :)
Finding the park was easy. Convenient to Wanaka with shops and places to eat. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The beds were very comfortable with lots and lots of doonas/quilts so you would never be cold.
The rooms were nice and equipped. The blowers provided in each room were extra comfort as the weather turned cold. The shower was terrible
If by chance you step on the drain cover which was in the middle of the small stall, it would close and the water would start accumulating and would overflow.
