Tootsie's Place is a cozy retreat just seconds away from Rockwood boat ramp and beaches. Conveniently located on RA with plenty of room to park your vehicle, boat and golf cart. If you would rather not catch your supper on the lake, the grocery store is less than a mile. Our neighborhood is full of friendly folks on golf carts and side by sides so if you have one, bring it with you and cruise the point to make new summer friends.

Great place
We enjoyed our time here. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with plenty of recreation around the area. We really enjoyed the firepit and kayaks as well!

Awesome Property
This property was a renovated garage with bathroom added. It was decorated in farmhouse style internally and how appropriate! You can watch the chickens and goats out back from your window! Terrah is amazing to work with. Her place is a very short distance to the lake. I highly recommend this property to anyone!

Highest marks for Tootsie's Place (and Terrah, our host) for our stay while birding at nearby Mingo NWR and other MO Bootheel sites! The studio apartment was comfortable, clean, bright, and tastefully furnished, and Terrah was super helpful from booking through check-out (including checking on us via text en route, dropping in with helpful info upon arrival, and checking on us via text during our stay). Highly recommended; we certainly intend to be repeat customers if/when back in the area.

Perfect weekend getaway
Tootsie’s place was exactly what we were looking for in our weekend retreat away from the city. We enjoyed the close access to the lake, walking paths and the kayaks provided with our stay. The space was cozy, comfortable and clean and Terrah was the perfect host. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend surrounded by beautiful nature and a quiet place to retreat to.

Convenient to the lake
We stayed here for a four day lake trip when it was too hot to tent camp. The property is conveniently located near several swimming beaches and restaurants! It was clean and the host was very friendly. The goats in the backyard were super cute too!
