Ferienwohnung Waren (Müritz)

On the edge of the old town of Waren (Müritz), in a central yet peaceful location, just a few steps from the inland waters of Lake Müritz, this lovingly renovated town villa comprises a total of three holiday flats, each accommodating up to three or five people. The harbour, with its boat and ship moorings, bathing beach, restaurants, shops and the ‘Müritzeum’ nature discovery centre, is within walking distance. The heated flat, measuring approx. 35 square metres, is equipped to accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child (max. 17 years) and features a combined living/sleeping area (seating area with armchairs, flat-screen TV, 1 double bed, 1 single bed), a kitchenette (electric hob, mini oven, fridge-freezer, dining area, various kitchen appliances) and a bathroom (shower, toilet, hairdryer). From here, you have a side view of Lake Müritz. A sunbathing area with sun loungers is available to all guests on the property. A smoke oven, a bicycle storage room (lockable, on the property), one parking space per flat (additional spaces available for a fee) and free Wi-Fi are provided. The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels, and water and energy consumption. (Please bring your own bed linen for babies.) To be paid on site: visitor’s tax, and, if applicable, parking at 5 EUR per day.

The state-recognised spa town of Waren (Müritz) is situated in charming surroundings right on the lake of the same name, Germany’s largest inland lake. It is also the tourist centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Attractions include the historic old town, the harbour with its passenger ferry service, the adjacent promenade and numerous restaurants and cafés, as well as the Müritzeum, a nature discovery centre featuring a huge freshwater aquarium and exhibitions on the flora and fauna of the Lake District. The town also boasts outdoor swimming pools, boat and cycle hire, surfing and sailing schools, and plenty of shopping opportunities. Waren is the gateway to the Müritz National Park, which can be easily explored via the well-developed network of cycle paths (also in combination with the passenger ferry). Motorway access is approximately 25 km away.
