Unacceptable motel even for the lowest price offered.
I booked here for two days on Expedia.ca. I was looking for a family friendly place near the beach. I was taken by the photos that look great, but wait till you be there.
When I arrived the lady there refused to show me the room before paying the full price that I did. She gave the key (12) and went with my 4 kids. Once we were inside, the kids were unhappy for the smell. I tried to move the curtains to let some light in there and to air the room, but the window was surrounded with a thin film (To reduce cold I guess) and behind the film was a lot of insects. Not only that, behind the windowâs glasses there were many plastic things and trash. In brief, it was impossible to change the air inside the room. When I discussed the issue with the staff, she offered me two other rooms that were on Mosley street, but for 100$ plus. I asked here to match the price but she refused. I booked elsewhere for cheaper price and much much better rooms and location (two minutes walk from the beach). The owner refused to make me a full despite all!
Iâm so angry for this and extremely disappointed because of this situation my Kids lost a half day on the beach.
I expect a full refund or Iâll take this further.!
This was the most disgusting motel I ever stayed in. The advertising pictures that are shown are so very misleading, shame on the owner .The bed had a hole in the middle, the curtains were so thin gave no privacy, the bathroom shower was gross the floor was not cleaned. The TV was so small, mouse droppings behind the bed, really up date your pictures and rooms. The parking lot was full of cigarette butts and garbage.
We liked that it was walking distance to the beach.
Didn't like the condition of the room. Everything in there is very old and the room is very musty. The hot water is beyond scolding hot and with the shower knobs not working properly, you were at risk of a major burn. Definitely not safe if small children were showering.
Liked how everything was walking distance close to the beach lots of stores around. Did not like was about the small shower cold water coming out. Wifi wasnât very good.
Place was clean. Very dated like most motels in Wasaga. It was fun, youâre only at the room to shower and sleep. Location was the best , just over the bridge and your there!! Iâd do it again.
This place is as basic as they come, but the staff were great and if your there to go to the beach the location can't be beat. They really need to update as the tv was a small B&W that received maybe 20 channels of which 10 weren't in English and the window air conditioner was loud. Bring your own shampoo etc as all you will find in your room is a small bar of soap.
My girlfriend and I stayed one night on Sept. 3, 2017. We paid $ 226. The condition of the room was dingy and dark. Very poor convenience, not even a glass or cup to drink from.
We are very angry and extremely disappointed for that money. We should have a luxury room for that price!
We expect to be reimbursed or we will take this further.!
Terrible experience. Staff is so rude, tried kicking us out of our room even though we payed the full amount. Made up rules they weren't even real and was extremely unpleasant to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
The hotel staff,in particular Guy Williams, was extremely service oriented and cordial. The security staff was outstanding. One individual went out of his way to secure firewood for another guest for example. Parking was problematic. The general condition was rundown but of average cleanliness.Transplant Williams, the staff and security to a 400-500 dollar a night facility and I'll be there,Otherwise I might drop by to say hello my next trip but I won't be staying.
