My stay at Arlo DC was decent overall. The staff were genuinely great, very polite and helpful. The room, however, had visible dust when I first arrived, which made it feel like it hadn’t been checked properly before being offered. For the price of the hotel, I expected better attention to detail. Basic toiletries like a toothbrush and shower cap were also missing, which was surprising for a hotel in this category. I stayed for three nights, and while everything else was fine, the lack of cleanliness on arrival and missing amenities lowered the experience. The staff were excellent, but the room standards need improvement.

The hotel is in walking distance to major attractions. It’s very close to union station. The hotel is newer and the room was very clean. There are plenty cafes and places to dine nearby. The hotel has room service along with a restaurant and cafe. The staff was cordial. I will definitely book with them again in the spring.

Got an upgrade to a real nice room on 12 th floor. End room with a balcony and double sided windows for panoramic views of the Capital and Washington Monument Room did need a rug replacement though Otherwise staff was extremely helpful
