Beautifully renovated 1360 SF apartment, well appointed and thoughtfully designed for the professional/sophisticated visitor to Washington. The perfect DC location, less than 2 blocks to the Dupont Metro station. Walk to dozens of top rated restaurants. This spacious apartment is an entire floor in a historic large Brownstone on a block of beautiful imposing historic homes. It features high 10' ceilings, recessed lighting, good natural light, and a large open kitchen & living room, giving it a bright and open feel. New hardwood floors, an open kitchen with counter seating and Viking appliances, and a full bath reveal thoughtful details in making this a comfortable and desirable retreat.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, custom closet, and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and, a custom closet. Both rooms have lovely natural light and black-out shades. You will also find a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the open living room.

This lovely apartment is on Gallery Row (R Street between Connecticut and 21st Street), a stone's throw from The Phillips Collection and home to interesting restaurants, cafes, bistros, shops, spas, galleries, museums jazz clubs and parks.

We are centrally located with easy walking to the ample cuisine choices throughout the neighborhood and it is easy to access all of the city via public transportation. There are abundant bike share, car share and scooter share opportunities nearby. Google the options or contact us for resources so that you can register in advance.

You are in an ideal location for transit, 1.5 blocks away from the DuPont Metro Station (Red Line) at 20th and Q St. Leave your car at home, having a car in DC is more a liability than a convenience! If you are driving to DC and need parking, we do have one parking space (nightly fee) behind the home, check with us on availability. We can also order you a street parking permit. Please check with us first on this, we will need the car make, model, and the plate state & number.

Lovely apartment, close to metro

Metro proximity was our deciding factor and this location was ideal. Just be sure to use the north exit of the DuPont circle station or you’ll walk twice as far. The apartment itself was clean, includes great Viking appliances and is perfectly suited for families with kids, with one master bedroom and one bedroom setup with a single-over-double bunk bed. Even the one small bathroom was well thought out, with a walk-in shower to conserve space and shelving to store toiletries.

Mattress and location

The master BR mattress is excellent. I have back issues and appreciate a really good mattress. The location is perfect. Walk to restaurants and $10 Uber to all the sights, Bonus, upscale living in a national historical register building.

Dark Entryway

A nice unit in a great location, although the entryway is in serious need of a porch light. The house number is visible after dark only on the ground floor door, so DoorDash and UberEats kept going to the neighbors’ door!

Family DC trip

Our youngest son is leaving for college in the fall and he had never visited like our other kids had. We saw so much. It was delightful despite the heat. I highly recommend this apartment, it was absolutely lovely and Charlotte took amazing care of us. Thank you!

We had a great stay at this property. The location was perfect with local dining options and quick walk to the metro. The property was very clean and communication with the property manager fast and helpful. There is no second/ back exit, which was the only thing I found unusual.

Place was great. Clean, comfortable, a nice place to hang out in a perfect location. I was a little concerned at first that the air conditioning wouldn't reach the secondary bedroom, but it ended up not being a problem even for a couple of 98-degree days.

Perfect location and Lovely Property

Almost everything about this venue was just right. Well furnished and clean, with all the necessary amenities, close proximity to the foreign embassy area, the Philips Collection, subway, and an excellent Sunday farmer's market. Numerous excellent restaurants within two to three blocks. This is fine if you need a conventional bed to sleep in. However, the bed is a bit narrow for two people who use some space, and the bunk beds are a bit softer than we were used to. Again, overall we would happily stay here again if the bed situation could be solved for us. Thank you.

Perfect location

We loved our time here! The location is perfect for getting to the metro and getting around the city. The proximity to restaurants is awesome with lots of options to chose from. The apartment has all the essentials for easy living and we all had comfy beds to sleep in after long days of playing tourist. We found everything to be super comfortable, clean and quiet.
