This newly decorated apartment in the lower level of an iconic brownstone home in Capitol Hill is full of modern charm. Vibrant Eastern Market at your doorstep and playground right across the street. This home provides easy access to the metro and a variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. This row home offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience and sophistication. Ideal spot to spend your time in DC whether here on business or vacation.
The Space:
Our cozy one bedroom apartment offers a queen size bed and brand new walk in shower. Please note the bathroom is located in the master bedroom. A full kitchen with everything needed for your stay should you wish to relax and cook at home after a long day seeing the sights. The unit has its own washer-dryer unit as well. We can sleep 3 guests with the following configuration:
Primary Bedroom - 1 Queen bed that sleeps 2
Living Room - Sofa bed that sleeps 1
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to the entire unit - access is private.
The apartment is in the Eastern Market section of the historic, peaceful, and diverse Capitol Hill neighborhood. Some of DC's best restaurants, bars, boutiques, and sporting venues are nearby. It's a short stroll to Eastern Market for food and arts.
Get any groceries needed at our local Trader Joes which is just a few minutes away from the property. Missing any essentials? CVS is also located directly across from the home behind the entrance to Eastern Market Metro.
There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, dogs, etc) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

In addition, we are 1-3 blocks away from several Capital Bikeshares and bus lines, including the 30S, 36, 90 and more! You can buy SmarTrip tickets (like plastic credit cards) or paper tickets at the station, the SmarTrip cards give a better rate per ride than the paper tickets. (Ask for a senior rate if applicable).
By Bike: - Capital Bikeshare offers bikes for rent by the hour or day and are available at the intersection at 12th St & Pennsylvania Ave SE and Eastern Market Metro / Pennsylvania Ave & 7th St SE. Capital BikeShare ((1-877) 430-BIKE (2453).

Very kind owners. Great communication. This home is in a great location. Great neighborhood feel. Close to Eastern Market metro stop, Trader Joe's, Eastern Market and plenty of mom and pop shops and restaurants.

Short DC Trip
Property was conveniently located with Trader Joe’s nearby and many restaurants. Communication could have been better, I had to prompt the host to send me info on access to house which they said they would give 24 hours prior but did not until I requested it.It was a basement but it had everything you can ask for for a short stay. Would visit again and would recommend to others.
