There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. A computer station is on site and WiFi is free in public spaces. A terrace, tour/ticket assistance, and coffee/tea in a common area are also featured at Tabard Inn.
Staff indifferent to my noise and service complaints. As a guest the bar/restaurant should not be closed to me because of a âprivate eventâ. I have stayed here several times over the years but not any more.
You could certainly tell this is, in part, an employee owned establishment. Very prompt, conscientious and friendly service. The hotel design and decor is, itself, wonderfully entertaining if you like history and the eclectic. If you need bright and shiny, this is not the place for you. If you're more English pub, you'll be in heaven. I only ate breakfast in the restaurant. It was very good.
This is a charming place to stay while in DC. I've stayed there before and it's a unique experience. If you want a hotel with a gym and pool and long corridors with ice machines this is not the place for you. If you want a hotel that is unlike any other, with art and antiques everywhere, and a good bar and restaurant, then this is the place for you.
This is a historical building. Its maze of staircases and excellent decor and cute unique rooms make this hotel a gem. It feels like youâre walking back in time a century.
Though I'm not a huge fan of "Victorian / Art Nouveau" they manage to make it charming and quirky at the same time. I adore the rooms with the huge club foot bathtubs, the scale and coziness of the main rooms. Giving guests a $10.00 voucher to the restaurant is a great incentive to eat in a very enjoyable and appetizing restaurant. So many wonderful things to say about Tabard! I loved it for staycations when I lived in Washington and enjoy it now when I get to visit. Thanks!
This is a lovely boutique hotel. Take a good look at pictures and donât expect it to be something that it is not. The food and the service could not be better.
We will be back! What a great hotel! So much character and history. The restaurant and bar were fantastic! The Last Call is my new favorite drink. Ask for Nathan.
