Area of town isn’t the greatest. Floor hasn’t been washed in a very long time. Not sure the sheets were fresh as there were tiny pebbles in between them, most likely from the dirty floor

Our room was in the main building, not at all what we expected is this was not described or pictured in the listing. The building was very loud with live music, smelled of kitchen smells. Noisy neighbors beside us. Everything did seem to settle down and we slept ok. Room was very generous in size and the beds were comfortable

Our room was in the newer building and was very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. We were there on a very busy night so the nearby parking lot was quite loud for part of the night especially as we had our window open for fresh air.

Although the beds were comfortable and clean the bathroom baseboards, door, ceiling vent and shower curtain looked like it had not been cleaned for years.

The hotel staff were very friendly and kind, and made sure we got the extra cot in our room, as requested over the phone the day before. The room itself was way above our expectations - clean, spacious, smelled nice, and very comfortable beds with clean and good quality bedding. I deducted 1-star for one simple reason: the security was seriously lacking at this motel. We were staying in a room adjacent to the parking lot, and there was only a doorknob lock. No deadbolt or chain, so it didnt feel safe at all. We also noticed a lack of security cameras and some unlit areas of the property. We arrived around 11pm when it was dark, and there was a group of men drinking beer in the parking lot. There was also a couple who had a large pitbull type dog, and it was running loose up and down the second floor walkway. I told them to leash their dog and they responded very rudely to me. Obviously not the hotels fault if guests act badly, but perhaps additional security measures and/or staff presence would discourage these kind of behaviours.

We were only passing through. The hotel seemed to be a bit run down, but our clean room and the friendly, helpful staff made us soon forget this. We would stay there again if we were passing through Wawa.

Good place in Wawa

The hotel is centrally located near downtown Wawa and the lake. The staff were very friendly at the hotel and restaurant/bar. The hotel is a bit dated, but good for the money and clean.
