It was clean. It didn’t smell when you walked in the door. The front desk lady was informative and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

The room was clean, this hotel actually has a little restaurant and bar which was fantastic. We had cocktails and dinner there. The night manager was awesome. We had a 15-ft U-Haul towing a car in the parking was safe.

The breakfast wasn't hot on our last day, the employee tried to troubleshoot and said she would look into getting it fixed. It could use some updating, but it was clean and everyone was nice. They let us have an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated.

Had to pay extra $30 to check in before the 3pm check in time. Also the room smelled like smoke. Other than that the room was big. The kids liked the pool and breakfast. Good old texas waffles. And the hotel looked nice. Would probably say again but would request a room that wasn't above the outside smoking area.

The hotel was ok. Nothing special. Staff was nice upon check in. We were awakened by a yipity dog barking in the HALLWAY! A good hour of that and we finally settted down to go back to sleep. Although checkout time was at 11, housekeeping was banging on our door at 915. Went down to get coffee immediately after because at that point I couldn't go back to sleep and they had put away the coffee! It wad 41° and gloomy. Why would you put the coffee away period? Just overall a crappy experience.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was good, not perfect, but better than we expected. Only problems were: one lamp that did not work, several bad 110v outlets (either too loose for contact, or could not insert the plug), bathroom door would not latch, and the toilet flush handle was installed backwards, preventing the lid from staying up. A nice surprise was finding a small bar in the lobby. Breakfast was better than usual motel offerings. Even my wife agreed that she would come back!

The room was dirty,there was a huge roach in the room,the bedding had a blood stain and a cigarette burn in a non smoking hotel and the bottom floor smelled like weed. The maid doesn’t know what a do not disturb sign means. The guy at the front counter was super friendly

I booked and paid for this hotel two weeks before our stay. We drove 3 1/2 hours to be arrive and be told they had no record of our reservation and that they were completely booked. I booked through Expedia and the hotel staff claimed Expedia never sent the reservation. 10 minutes later, the manager claimed Expedia had just sent an email that morning. My suspicion is that the Clarion hotel overbooked on purpose with the hope that someone would cancel or be a no show. That didn’t happen and that almost left me, my husband, and my 3 children stranded with every other hotel also booked for the weekend. Luckily the Townsplace by Marriott had one room available and was accommodating and Expedia covered the difference in pricing. The only good review here is that the front desk receptionist was very nice and attempted to call around and help us find another hotel.
