Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice location with plenty of free parking. Easy access to Wells. Good cooked breakfast but continental breakfast was rather sparse

Family room was fine for what we needed however was right next to the entrance of the hotel and very hot. Couldn’t open the window due to people coming and going / smoking outside the window. Breakfast had lots of choice but the cooked vegetarian breakfast was very greasy.

Absolutely wonderful staff, they got us fans on an extremely hot day, the check-in staff were 1st class, the bar staff were excellent, I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean, only downside is lots of flies in the restaurant area around the windows and in our room the paintwork was a bit shoddy. Tea and coffee was filled back up daily. Reception staff were friendly enough, as restaurant staff. Did witness one woman in particular who was bringing food out drop food on 3 guests and also some on the floor . We hadn't planned to go in the caves initially, as the hotel was a base more so for us, but we did in the end and they were good..would have been nice to have done an add on ticket at a reduced price as we were staying in the hotel though..i know you can do this whilst booking, but would've been nice to still have had it as an option. All in all avery pleasant place to stay.

Arrived very late and the receptionist was very helpful and happy to serve us drinks. They also checked the car park regularly to ensure the cars were safe. Very comfortable!

The hotel staff were so friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was very nice, with a great range to choose from. Lovely hotel, I will definitely return. Only down fall is that the shower temperature fluctuates while showering.

Very family friendly and safe. Breakfast option is good and the staff are very polite and helpful. I prefer to have more hooks to hang out towels and clothes. And a small fridge will be very handy

Not exactly what I hoped for!

Positioned well for wookey hole. Staff friendly on arrival, room clean too. Only 6 hangers supplied for a family room. First morning we asked the room to not be cleaned as we were going to be in for a while, the second morning towels were replaced only and cups changed, beds weren't made, rubbish wasn't emptied. Breakfast choice was okay. We ordered a full English on the first morning and the fried eggs were swimming in grease on the plate. Not appealing at all. There was no key supplied for our balcony doors and being a family room meant our children could open the doors as and when they felt which I wasn't too pleased about and they were left unlocked. The staff were friendly. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The hot water is extremely hot, there was no option for warm water so be careful with children using the taps.
