In almost all bedrooms, you can configure the beds to create a double bed for snuggling or separate beds for a pillow fight. This makes it suitable not only for families with children, but also for couples and friends traveling together. If you'd like to visit the medieval town center of Wernigerode, leave the car behind and take the castle train, for example, which departs from the holiday park every morning. The colorful, up to 600-year-old half-timbered houses, the 500-year-old town hall, the castle, the smallest half-timbered house now open as a museum, and the "Krummelsches Haus" (Krummel House) are world-famous and will delight you too. Whether short strolls or extended hikes, the Harz hiking area with its forests, lakes, and streams is right on your doorstep. Discover interesting day trips, for example, to the show mines, the Hexentanzplatz (Witches' Dance Floor) near Thale, or the cathedral in Halberstadt. Our tip for families: The "Little Harz" Miniature Park features more than 50 miniature models of the Harz Mountains' most famous buildings.
