Spacious 3 bed/2.5 bath home ideal for families and professionals who require short-term housing due to displacement or relocation. Features: fully furnished; fully-stocked, eat-in kitchen opening to a lovely back porch; large great room/dining room with stone hearth; 2nd floor tv room/den with pullout queen sleeper sofa. Also, two additional bonus spaces: a dedicated 2nd floor office space/nursery (twin bed) and a first-floor laundry room/office with double-bed sleeper sofa and on-suite half bath.

Bucolic, estate-like property (just shy of 4 acres) encompasses a spring-fed pond and meandering creek and abuts a 126-acre park which offers hiking trails and a dedicated dog-park. A fenced upper yard is suitable for dogs and children. A giant front porch overlooks gardens and farmland. Our picturesque valley boasts a winery and several others within a 7-mile radius. We are 5 miles from two grocery shopping/restaurant centers (one east, one west) and 7.5 miles from the historic and bustling town of Kennett Square.

This historic house was like taking a step back in time! It was really beautiful and the views were lovely. There is a creek running through the yard that is very pretty. We had a few problems when we first checked in understanding the thermostats and their locations but the owner was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the bedrooms and other rooms of the house were large. There were games and books available to use. This house would be great for a large group.
