Featuring vaulted ceilings, sweeping long-range mountain views, and modern comforts, this retreat offers four dedicated sleeping spaces and four full bathrooms—ideal for multi-family getaways or group trips.

Main Living Area: Features vaulted ceilings, an open-concept layout with an authentic wood stove, HDTV, and plush leather seating.

Gourmet Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a breakfast bar (seats 2). The adjacent dining area seats 8 and includes a second wet bar (seats 4) complete with a wine cooler.

Covered Outdoor Living: Step directly onto the primary covered deck equipped with a cozy porch swing, gas grill, outdoor dining table, ceiling fan, and privacy/sun shades.

Beautiful cabin home

This cabin view was so perfect. I love the lighted pathway to the house, the big windows in the cabin, the updated kitchen and the dining room area was a huge bonus. The hot tub was fantastic as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back .

As this is our third year, staying at the same cabin, we are very pleased with all the amenities offered. The only suggestion I have, is maybe large mixing bowls for the kitchen and sheets provided for the Murphy bed. The property management at our request turned the lights on in the driveway as we arrived in the night. This was so very helpful and would encourage This to be done for future renters that arrive after daylight.

Fantastic location and views. A few details overlooked.

House was in a great location and was furnished very nicely. Great game room. Views from the back deck were amazing. The handle to the freezer drawer was broken when we arrived but we fixed it. Dirty towels were piled up in one of the closets. Apparently one of the previous occupants had a party with confetti and plastic sequins as they were stuck in the carpet. All in all a positive experience.

We loved the layout of the home along with the game room downstairs. The only drawback to the whole weekend was the limited number of towels and washcloths for our party of eight. Some of the bathrooms only had one washcloth for a two night stay. Plus the Murphy bed downstairs did not have any sheets available.

First, the view was amazing! Our family enjoyed being together for Thanksgiving and the dinning area was perfect for ten of us. The location was great-close to West Jefferson, Frosty’s and a grocery. It was nice to have 4 bathrooms. BUT there are only 3 bedrooms even though they list 4. There is a Murphy bed in the game room along with a full bath. There was not any extra blankets in any bedroom. There were no hand towels, only 3 bath mats and the soap in the bathrooms were watered down. The kitchen had most everything needed for preparing meals. Overall the house was clean except floors were dirty/dusty.And as mentioned the driveway is quite tricky. Just be aware if bad weather. Jennifer at Carolina Mtn Rentals responded quickly with a few things that needed addressing. We appreciated her help.

Rustic cabin with a view

Rustic cabin in a nice forested mountain neighborhood. The deck has a great mountain view and it was lovely to see the early morning fog mixed throughout. The cabin was spacious and met our needs. The hot tub was recently serviced and it was enjoyed. The tree canopy above the fire pit was helpful for enjoying this area even in the rain. We could not get the igniter to work on the gas grill, but we did report this to the property management group for inspection/repair. There is an Ingles nearby and charming downtown West Jefferson is a short drive away. They have an interesting Saturday Farmer's Market there and be sure to visit the Honey Hole. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

The kitchen was stocked ok, but we were missing a few items that would have been nice to have (lighter, larger mixing bowl). Cleanliness of the house could use some improvements. There were lots of areas it was appeared had not been cleaned. Floors were dirty, bathroom towels were not consistent with the beds, no trash bags in bathrooms and a huge amount of trash had been dumped down the mountain off the driveway.

There was PLENTY of space for our family of 10 and the beds were comfortable and large. There were 3 tvs and a nice bar area. Check in was easy. The arcade was awesome- kids and husbands loved. They had a fire pit area, a small climbing dome for kids and a little creek that ran through the well secluded property. We stayed March 16-21, and it was around 20 degrees with snow flurries but the tubing places had all pretty much closed for season. We went to Linville caverns, waterfall park, wilderness run alpine coaster, and elk river falls- all about an hour away. Past reviews stated there was a pack n play for a small child, we didn’t see one.They did have a ball pit, a nugget couch, a high chair,a few extra warm clothes, a stroller and sleds downstairs. Make sure to read trash directions! As well as look over departure checklist the day before you leave. The cabin was well stocked with essentials with the exception of coffee. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Stay!

The cabin ideally suited the needs of our six member family, consisting of three couples. The three bedrooms with an additional Murphy bed in the basement, provided plenty of space. The separate dining room/bar was a frequently used space for gathering and playing board games. The arcade games in the basement were a big hit. We also enjoyed the wood-burning stove in the living room in light of the cold and snowy weather. Speaking of which, be sure to heed the warnings about being prepared for wintry weather if you’re staying during the winter months. This cabin is halfway up a mountain and the forecast for West Jefferson may not be entirely accurate for this location. We were expecting snow showers and ended up with 4 to 5 inches. However, the community does a good job of responding to wintry weather and clearing the roads. The driveway to the house coming off the road is a bit steep, so be prepared for that if wintry weather is expected. The cabin enjoys great views from the deck, including near and long range mountain views. Sunrises are spectacular. There were a few things in the kitchen that we missed such as measuring spoons and measuring cup, and we would’ve liked a few more towels and washcloths, but those are quibbles. Property management was extremely responsive and flexible, allowing us to check out a little late to allow more snow to melt off the roads before trying to depart. All in all, we were very pleased with the cabin and are likely to return.

A Must Mountain Retreat!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this property! It was well stocked and had so much room for our large family stay! The children loved the arcade games and ping pong in the basement! Hot tub was awesome! Views from the covered porches are beautiful! Fire pit made a great spot to roast marshmallows for our Samores! 10 mins to the sweet town of West Jefferson! We highly recommend!!
