There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. A computer station is on site, and both WiFi and wired Internet are free in public spaces. A terrace, multilingual staff, and a garden are also featured at The Hollies Inn. Self parking is free.
Great little location, quirky room with two bedrooms, and low beams, creaky floors and higgledypiggeldy layout all of which was a joy! Much better than the generic box rooms you get given at chain hotels. It was all well equiped and well functioning. Double bed not the comfiest Iâve slept on - a relatively thin mattress. All the same, it was warm, cosy, and perfect for what I needed this weekend. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Full English breakfast was sensational. Thank you.
A pleasant stay. Comfortable bed. Hardly haute cuisine but just honest, well cooked good food. Staff were helpful & friendly. If we need to stay in the area again, we'd be very happy to return to The Hollies Inn.
Ideal for our overnight stay . Staff are all friendly and helpful. We had breakfast this morning which was delicious and worth the money . Would recommend this inn . Lovely and cosy
Bathroom bulbs not working on arrival, host soon sorted once we told him.
Evening food ok, pizza đ oven playing up so delay in service.
We were aware of stairs having read previous reviews, they were dooable as had sturdy bannister rail as my wife has both knees and hips replaced.
Good selection of ZERO alcohol beers too.
Good breakfast, slightly overfaced.
All in all an ok stay thanks..
We stayed here because I wanted to go to longleat to see my favourites the Giraffe's, It was a lovely welcome, food was excellent and the staff looked after you so well, would definately recommend staying at this property
Old pub but well kept. The service was very good and the breakfast was excellent. Due to personal problems too many stairs, but acceptable for my needs
The room is ok, bed is uncomfortable and mattress needs updating , whole room in need of an update. Was functional firework but wouldnât want longer than a one night stay. Long hair left in the soap dish on the showerhead somewhat off putting . Shower pressure struggles a bit . WiFi was decent , service and check in was good.
The Hollies is a lovely place to stay. The hospitality is fantastic. The only thing is it's an old building so it's a bit creaky and because the rooms are over a pub expect noise. I would stay there again
This was for after a wedding locally. The room was a suite and one that featured two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Unfortunately the mattress was not easy to sleep on.
The check in was convenient at the late time of night.
No other amenities used.
The staff and locals were so welcoming in the pub. My children (and I) absolutely loved the accommodation and easy access to local amenities. The children begged me to book an extra night which along with locals recommendations to visit Wookey Hole we did. We are already planning a return visit for next year :)
I spent two nights at the Hollies in early August. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food (dinner and full English breakfast) were excellent (although no food is served on Tuesday evening, but there are nearby options available). London Pride on draft.
The pub itself does not open until 5, but you can check in after 3 PM. Room 4 was very spacious with a surprisingly large bathroom.
The pub is just over a mile from central Westbury, and Warminster is close by. It is less than an hour's drive to get further afield to Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury.
A huge shout out and thanks to "Charlie", one of the managers, who noticed I had a flat tyre and changed the spare for me. "Thank you"!
A quaint and quirky building but the beds are in desperate need of an overhaul. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the bed squeaked and moved whenever you turned over.
Also the web site needs to make it clear food is not served Mondays and Tuesday as I could have made other arrangements before I arrived.
