This was in many ways a charming little place. The room was nicely furnished, with everything you need for tea and coffee. My room was at the top of a winding staircase. though, and there’s no elevator. There happened to be someone at the desk who helped get my luggage upstairs, but not when I left, so pack lightly.
The only other concern I had was the noise from the bus line right next to the building and under my window. Turns out the bus ran less often at night. The owners also provide a number of noise muffling gadgets to help out and they work pretty well. The bed was quite comfortable, the room was sparkling clean. If you’re strong enough to manage your luggage, it’s worth giving it a try.
