The Yorkshire Show week (commencing July 6th) is still available to book. We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of the Barn,which is away from all neighbours and surrounded by farmland so easy to socially distance as required.Due to the Corona Virus we have further enhanced our cleaning procedures.
Fig Tree Barn is an extensively renovated property thoughtfully converted to the highest standards. It is detached and whilst located adjacent to our home, Lund House, it retains full privacy.Visitors now have their own private outside spaces.The door in the dining/lounge area of the barn leads onto a large and stunning roof terrace overlooking the orchard.Here you can sip your favourite tipple,relaxing on comfy rattan chairs with cushions and stools or watch the sun rising whilst you breakfast around the table or the sun setting in the evening. The barn overlooks an apple tree orchard with far reaching views towards the pretty village of Hunsingore, which is located by the River Nidd. There is a picnic bench for sitting on in a secluded, peaceful and sunny corner of the orchard.Many of our guests have commented on the wildlife they have seen from the lounge area including owls,hares,pheasants,hedgehogs, and deer .There is also a bird feeder which attracts many feathered visitors including woodpeckers,wrens,sparrows and bluetits..Outside the barn entrance, there is an ornamental pond with fountain and Koi carp and 2 fig trees growing up the wall, hence the name. We have recently welcomed some lovely Dutch (zwaltbles)rare breed sheep into our back field.They are very friendly and enjoy being stroked and you can watch them from the lounge windows.Have a look at our photos of them. There is ample and secure off road parking and a locked bike shed. From the attractive, glazed front entrance, an oak staircase leads up to the first floor accommodation, comprising a gallery landing, open plan lounge/dining area(with table and chairs) with oak floors and wood burning stove and fully fitted modern kitchen with breakfast bar and stools..There are 2 bedrooms, one double with fitted oak wardrobe and one with twin beds.There are 2 bathrooms, one en-suite and one with bath and overhead shower. The property is very light and airy thanks to its many windows and high ceilings.

Luxury accomodation in a perfect location.
Chose this property for the proximity to a family wedding, but so glad we did. The accomodation is pure luxury, extremely comfortable, well equipped and with amazing mattresses for a fabulous nights sleep. You are set in the country but with easy access to visit numerous places easily. You can sit and enjoy watching the birds and wildlife. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating and have made a wonderful place to stay. Highly recomend. Thankyou.

Lovely location!
We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us as we travelled to the Yorkshire Dales, as well as to York. Suzanne and Frank were very helpful to us as we had a couple minor issues with heat and internet. Really enjoyed the quiet and privacy that this rental provided us!

Fabulous Accomodation
Fig Tree Barn was a lovely place to stay. It was spotlessly clean, decorated to a high standard with good sized rooms. The views from the lounge were impressive seeing rabbits and a family of deer. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us some useful tips for local places to visit. The location is perfect for York, Harrogate and Knaresborough.

Love this cottage, great centrally located area to experience all aspects Yorkshire has to offer. Quiet, peaceful, great wildlife to watch. Cottage, clean, comfortable, very bright and airy providing everything we required for a perfect stay. We would definitely recommend to others and hope to return soon.

Lovely Barn Conversion
My daughter and i stayed for a week at Fig Tree Barn. It was very clean with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The Barn was very well positioned for trips to York, Harrogate and Wetherby. Suzanne was very welcoming and showed us round on arrival. She was on hand if we needed help (which we didn't) but wasn't pushy. We would stay again!
