Tired & sad with dire customer service
We didn’t end up booking in as we had been misinformed at the location.
I was left for 35 minutes for the Deputy Manager escorted me to a private room where he was aggressive arrogant & misinformed he raised his voice & discussed an issue that I hadn’t even raised incredibly rude & angry.
He did then calm down & apologised for his initial stance & we managed to discuss the issue , I did offer a solution which we both agreed was fair & reasonable, however he needed authorisation to agree to this.
Absolutely fine ….. his boss said no but they would pay for mobility scooters ….. which was insulting as I explained previously they do need to walk to maintain their mobility but can not walk over a mile in one session!
We then left, on my part quite happily as I did not want to stay there a minute longer as the hotel looked sad tatty & tired I found rooms at Chapter 1 an amazing hotel right opposite the beach where Steve the owner could not do enough for us & the experience was so in contrast to what we experienced with the best western. The Deputy Manager was very apologetic in the end but to little to late
