Whistler Two Bed Townhome steps to ski lifts and village! Best location!

The master bedroom is located on the top floor overlooking the open living-dining and kitchen areas and offers flat screen TV. You will find Main lifts of Whistler Village out the front and to the right and with the Upper Village lifts just across the street. Take the back route along Fitzsimmons Creek only steps from the quaint covered bridge to parking lot 1 and the mid Village entrance which is 5 minutes at a slow pace! This rental was a great spot within walking distance of the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas as well as many restaurants and shops. The unit was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The biggest item of concern was the smell. It's hard to explain, but the smell of the place was off-putting, unfortunately. Additionally, every time we flushed the toilet, the shower would gurgle, which means there is likely a blockage. And, the water in the shower was slightly yellow and had an odd smell. Other than those things, it was a great stay!
This condo is in the ideal location to ski both Whistler and Blackcomb -- about a 5 minute walk to either gondola. The house is very clean, and the property manager very responsive. A few things to note that help make the stay run smoother: 1) the covered parking spot in the garage has very low clearance, so larger vehicles (or those with a roof container) will likely need to use the outside parking pass, 2) the small kids room gets cold if you don't turn on the space heater in that room, and 3) the upstairs shower works better if you pull on the knob transitioning from bath to shower very gently and stop before getting to the most extreme position (experiment with it to get the right location to not make noise). Really, with those small things in mind, it's a wonderful place and stay, but I think these are helpful notes for guests to know
Easy walk to Blackcomb gondola. The condo had everything we needed but we found the condo to be cold. The heating system could not keep up with the drafts. Overall I would say the condo was so-so compared to others we have rented. Some basic maintenance needed on several things. We shared the list with the property manager so hopefully everything will be fixed. Would be a good condo if they were.
Very nice place to stay. We have been to Whistler many times, and this was the best location we have stayed. Super close walk to either Blackcomb or Whistler. Easy to walk anywhere. The second room is small, ie not technically a bedroom, but it was perfectly fine for our two children ages 6 and 9. We would stay there again. Parking garage height is very low - 6'3" in the assigned stall. Fortunately you get a permit for outdoor parking though.
Can't beat the location, very easy to get to either mountain and the town! The host was very responsive and the accommodations served us well. I would stay here again!
Weâve stayed at a few condos in Whistler and this has been our favourite by far. Fabulous location, literally steps to everything. Near the river too. Well stocked, really clean, great layout. Loved our stay!
Lovely place just steps from Whistler Village and the Blackcomb Gondola. More than enough space for our family of 3 + small dog and great starting point for any Whistler adventure.
Highly recommend and hope to stay again!
The property and location were great. It was an easy walk to either the Whistler base or the Blackcomb base. We loved being able to walk to the village to dine and shop. The property was peaceful and nice.
We have been to Whistler before and I have wanted to try the Gables for its location with access to both ski hills. The location did not disappoint. We parked our vehicle for almost the entire 2 weeks. We easily accessed the XC ski trails as well. The suite was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we were not informed that a full on construction was going on in the suite beside us, the construction noise was 7 days a week. We could hear their sneezes and talking as well as sawzalls, drills and impact guns. We were told we would receive one night refund within 7 days and we were sent the refund invoice but after texting, emails and calls to follow up we never received the refund and Itâs been 2 months now.
Super vacation with my sons & the location was so convenientđ The place was more than we needed but perfect for our experience also our dog was so happy too:) We hope we can rent again in the near futuređđŒ
the second room is quite tiny and can better accommodate children than adults. We didn't try the pull out couch though. overall the place is cozy and nice, but the location is amazing close to everything. Gillian, the service manager is amazing as well.
This townhouse was very comfortable and well appointed. The location was perfect! It was a short stroll to all the action of the Village but situated along the creek in a well maintained complex. The beds were very comfy and the parking was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
