What a great place for a get-away to South Wales and the lovely beaches nearby.
What a great place for a get-away to South Wales and the lovely beaches nearby. The 'Bothy' was very comfortable and set in the grounds of the farm which we could enjoy also. The facilities were great and all was very comfortable. The location is within easy striking distance of some really great sandy beaches and clifftop walks. Very much recommended.

We stayed during a very sunny hot week end July with our two children (8+10).
We stayed during a very sunny hot week end July with our two children (8+10). Loved this place....especially the setting. Utterly stunning views from the main garden the owner (Susie) is happy for visitors to enjoy. She also was happy for us to make use of her BBQ and to play with her lovely little dog Kyra. The Bothy is immaculately clean and we arrived to a very delicious welcome treats. We didn't quite have the week we'd planned due to our car breaking down on day 3 but Susie was so kind and helpful giving us a lift into Whitland for essentials or for the train station.....unfortunately not very walkable as 1.5+ down narrow country lanes and all up hill back. The Bothy us very comfortable and fulfilled all our needs. The wifi was reliable and the bathrooms ideal. The only downside was the double bed in the master bedroom being too squishy and too small for two adults over 5'11"....the size room could definitely cope with a larger bed.....had it been just us adults we would have slept in the 2nd bedroom as there are two beds in there....unfortunately there is no way our two kids could share a bed/swap rooms. The other niggle was the skylight in the master bedroom....necessitating the use of eyemasks.....but I know many folk aren't bothered by light....whereas I'm keen on blackout. But otherwise can't fault the place. Would visit again....as long as car functions....as it's rather cut off without it.
