Two Bedroom Apartment - The Seaview Snug

A newly refurbished one bedroom flat that is very private and set on the top floor of a three storey period Victorian house. This elevated position enjoys a generous amount of sea views across Whitstable's coastine where there is always something to watch. From one man sailing boats to the local lobster boat dropping its pots off shore or simply watch the large sunset in front of you.
There is a good sized bedroom with a large amount of wardrobe and drawer space for you to settle into, as well as a comfy armchair and newly laid carpet and rug. The room is bright and thoughtfully fitted out. The light fittings and carefully chosen art all fit in, as does the barnacle speckled driftwood coat hook by the door. Traditional wrought metal column radiators complete the look.

The kitchen and dining area are very bright and airy with 2 traditional sash windows facing directly towards the coast. The kitchen is simple but well equipped for everything you are likely to need during your stay. There are the usual utensils and cutlery items as well as a Tassimo coffee machine, which is fee to use. We have chilled wine and Whitstable Ale stocked in our fridge for you to have during your break. So, you can just turn up and start to unwind the minute you get through the door.

The lounge area, only separated by an oak, chocolate coloured, island worktop leads nicely from the kitchen where we have placed a few different styles of seats. Take your pick, we have a captain's chair next to the large sash window, a large comfy armchair or the sofa bed just the other side of the oak coffee table. The Karndean floor runs throughout the area and joins with the hallway. Here you will find board games, assorted reference books and local leaflets and maps.

Finally the shower room is clean and modern in its design and fully tiled to give a luxury feel. We have equipped it with an easy to use chrome shower mixer and large rain head. There's a towel radiator and concealed toilet cistern area. The lights come on and off automatically as you use the room and the mirror cabinet has a sensor switch as well as a shaver socket. Fresh hand towels and mats are supplied at the start of your visit.

A bike rack is located just across the road and there are several places nearby to park your car. Parking options are included in your welcome pack.

Great apartment with easy access to everything you need

The apartment was the perfect location. We could easily walk to and from the station, into the town centre and it was minutes away from the beach and castle. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a short break and it was a lovely place to cook and relax in the evenings. Paul's communication was excellent.

Ideal for solo guest

While Seaview Snug would be a wonderful place for couples, it served me perfectly for my first solo holiday in many years. Paul was helpful, promt and kind in his communication. The apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Instructions for entry, appliances, etc were full, clear and easy to find. The kitchen was really well-equipped for cooking and eating at home. Equally, the central and prominent location meant I felt safe coming home after an evening out. It's the perfect spot for a break that has a balance of peaceful solitude and reassuring bustle. I'll definitely visit again.

Perfect spot for a short holiday

Really nice place, with everything one might need to have some rest and relaxation by the sea :) Nicely furnished with plenty of original and thoughtful design ideas, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, lovey view of seaside sunset :) Perfect location - short walk from the train station, close to all spots of interest/food/drinks. Lovely host, very accommodating and quick in response. Thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Homey feel

Nice little 1 bed flat, equipped with everything you might need. Great location close to the castle, beach and just a 10 min walk to the high street if that. would recommend and would definitely go again. Just a few things that could have been better but I think mostly down to the cleaner instead of the host, when we arrived bins were full, dishwater not empty and the oven trays had been used but all small things on what was a lovely stay.

Great Apartment in Whitstable

Lovely compact apartment with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay! Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable and short walk to the harbour and little bit further into town where there are numerous eating places and individual shops to browse. Could have stayed longer just to read all the wonderful books and drink the refreshments provided!! Many thanks Paul.

Perfect for two

We stay at this apartment for few nights and it was perfect. Just on the edge of town with a beach just across the road. Plenty of crockery, glasses etc and a view of the sea. The only issue We found was the apartment was called the Lookout and on arrival we were looking for a sign or something saying Lookout, but eventually we’re worked out where it was. Whitsable town has plenty of bars and restaurants to visit and everyone was so friendly. Thank you Paul for our stay, sorry it’s taken so long to review.

Brilliant stay!

Excellent apartment close to the beach and facilities. Paul communicated prior to arrival and gave thorough instructions. We felt that we could contact him any time if we had any issues...which we didn't. Will definately be back!

Great location

We couldn't find the key box to start with but Paul was very helpful The flat is on the third floor but we didn't mind the climb. The flat is comfortable and well appointed, and we loved the selection on games (especially Guess who). It's in a great location for the harbour, with some lovely places to walk and eat. We like the Harbour Garden for food and cocktails. A great place to visit, and a lovely place to stay.

Three excellent days; perfect accomodation, see view, great seafront, Oysters festival, what you nee

Very good; check-in process easy after receiving very detailed instructions. The room is spacious, the kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances, TV, video, book, guidebooks. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. Drinks are provided at a reasonable price, no need to waste your time and turn to the shops on your way to the beach. Excellent; we will definitely be back.

More than just a holiday rental

Just had 3 amazing nights at this holiday rental, was a little apprehensive as never used a private rental before. On arrival was delighted to find the apartment very clean and tastefully furnished. Lots of information to hand regarding the local and surrounding area. Lovely and quiet even though on the main coastal road, honesty bar was a nice surprise, overall had a great time.

Pleasant Surprise.

On arrival and first impressions from the outside I was wondering what I had booked and as it was a surprise trip for my wife the look on her face filled me with anguish, but those fears fell away after entering the top floor apartment, as its like a 4* hotel inside. So for that reason I will recommend this property.

Great Base for Whitstable

Whilst outside the main High Street thoroughfare the apartment provides a great location for accessing the Harbour, the beach and only 5-10 min walk from the High Street. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable with a lot of thought for the occupant with vouchers for activities, an honesty bar with exceptionally low prices and games + DVDs for the rainy day restrictions
