Location:
This cabin is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from downtown Bryson City. Enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and breweries of this charming mountain town, or stop by and check out the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad train depot, all located in Bryson City. The Deep Creek entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also located just outside of Bryson City, packed with great hiking trails, 3 beautiful waterfalls, and during the Spring and Summer months, excellent mountain tubing! The Harrahs Casino, Oconaluftee River hiking trails & tubing, the popular Mingo & Soco waterfalls, and the Sequoyah National Golf Course are all located about 10 minutes away in Cherokee, NC. You can also reach the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake for some great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing options in about 25-30 minutes, Or you can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting, zip lining, and other adventurous excursions out in the Nantahala Gorge also located 30 minutes away.

Access road:
Cars and Most All vehicles- The road to this vacation rental is easily accessible by most all vehicles, however this road and the parking area is not large enough for trailers. Motorcycles are not permitted at this property.

Exterior:
Not your traditional cabin in the woods, The Eagles Nest Lodge is a unique vacation property with three separate but adjacent units. Take your pick between two independent one bedroom studio style apartments and the main house with three bedrooms and two baths. The cabin is surrounded by breath taking mountain views and has outdoor amenities that include a hot tub, gas grill, and wonderful exterior pavilion perfect for sightseeing.

Entry level:
The Eagles Nest Lodge main house is a spacious 3 bedroom and 2 bath vacation home that is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking mountain views you will ever see! On the entry level of the main house, you will find two bedrooms and a communal bathroom. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and has a flat screen tv, along with a gas log fireplace and a private entryway that leads out onto the shared deck space and hot tub. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, and there is a shared bathroom with a standing shower only. Also on the entry level, you will find the beautiful and spacious kitchen that sits adjacent to both the living room and dining room areas. You are sure to enjoy gazing out the many floor to ceiling windows that beautiful displays the mountain views from just about anywhere in the main living areas of this home. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking and dining utensils that you will need to prepare delicious meals without ever having to leave the comforts of the home. The dining room has table seating for eight, and there is a charming smaller bistro style table tucked away in the corner for a more intimate meal setting. The living room is furnished with plush leather couches and recliner, with a stone wall fireplace accompanied by a flat screen tv.

Loft Level :
Upstairs is an open loft style bedroom furnished with two sets of twin over full size bunk beds, and a shared bathroom with tub shower combo. There is also a private entry way that leads you out onto the second level outside deck space that overlooks more endless mountain views.

Exterior: Located on the top floor, this unit has it's own open deck accessed from a set of stairs from the parking area. The deck has a gas grill and seating to enjoy the stunning mountain view. The deck also serves as the private entrance to the upper apartment unit.

Interior: Charming studio style lodging, this apartment unit will have everything you need for an unforgettable vacation! Each unit is furnished with a queen size bed, private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living room area with floor to ceiling windows that showcase some of the most breathtaking mountain views you will ever see. Each studio apartment has its own private deck area with separate gas grills and seating that is perfect for kicking back as you soak in the views!


Lower Apartment-
Exterior: Located on the lower floor, this unit has it's own deck accessed from a set of stairs from the parking area. The deck has a gas grill and seating to enjoy the stunning mountain view. The deck also serves as the private entrance to the lower apartment unit.
