Does not meet typical Marriott standards.

Beer bottles and garbage scattered around the parking lot is never a good sign. As I walked in, I watched an employee step over / ignore a literal grocery bag of piss. I’ve never seen a grocery bag of piss before. Stains on the bathroom wall behind the toilet (pictured), clogged shower drain, chipped and cracked tile in the bathroom, curly public hair on the floor in the corners. And this is the renovated/updated room. This isn’t your typical Marriott, don’t expect any standards here. It’s 2025 and this hotel doesn’t have a vent fan in the bathroom so when you shower, the whole room gets muggy. It had one of those ancient wall air conditioner units you used to see in motels back in the day, and the floor around it was all sopping wet! Ice machine was on the 4th floor, what the heck? Dudes at the front desk were untucked and sloppy, the ladies had ear buds in and were watching YouTube or something. Coffee is $3.50 in the lobby lol, and parking at this joke of a Marriott is $16 per day in WICHITA. Not a world class city, but in Wichita, where 60% of the city is parking lots. If you MUST stay in Old Town, Wichita, do yourself a favor and stay at The Hotel at Old Town. It’s 2 blocks away from this embarrassment to the Marriott name.

Wasnt expecting the additional parking fee. The lot wasnt even fenced/gated. I know the hotel 2 blocks away doesnt have an extra fee for parking.
