Property was under construction per the sign. But never say construction workers. Our room was clean for the most part. But our bathroom sink had a major clog. And we would get woken up every morning early by some banging that was going on somewhere. The breakfast in the morning was not bad at all. And staff for the most part was pretty good.
Great hotel just wish there was a room available with two beds and not just a king bed. Breakfast was amazing lots of choices! Beds were comfy. Wish there had been a hot tub there though. Pool water was cold.
Extremely dirty hotel, hallways had not been vacuumed lately, carpets were dirty. I was there two nights they didnât clean the room and should have made the bed for the price they charged. Breakfast was good. The grounds were in need of cleaning and repair. They did move me to another room for the second night which I appreciated. This is probably the worst condition of a Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. They said they were in the process of renovating the facility. Not any to soon. I have stayed in Holiday Inns for over 50 years and this is in my top 10 of the worst condition.
Felt bad for Carlos, our room at 3:30 was not cleaned and ready and the check in took over 29 minutes. Did not feel he had a good team working with him. He had to physically go check on the room, while there was a guest waiting behind me! SMH
The hotel really needs updating. The elevator and halls were 100 degrees. The room was just as hot. It took the AC hours to cool the room off. I have always had great experiences at Holiday Inn Express Hotels. I will not rely on the brand again.
shower tub faucet too loose or part off sink drainage leaking water over floor
need to have tub rug almost fell diwn or slippery crazy....
dining room windows are too dirty
The heat was on in the hallways. There was no staff working the desk this morning. The breakfast was burned or hit made. The trash was overflowing in the dining area. It was not a good experience at all.
So, we reserved a one night stay online through hotels.com. I paid in full for this because I used my one key cash & paid the remainder. Checked out at 5 am on Friday and as of 3 days later, they're running my card used for incidentals multiple times a day for the full one night stay that was already paid for.
I originally reserved a Suite with 2 Queen Beds and Sleeper Sofa. When we arrived I was informed that since I had booked through a "secondary service", that that reservation was not guaranteed! What?!?! If Expedia cannot be trusted to insure I get the room I reserved -- then why should I even use Expedia?
Additionally, this hotel is in absolutely horrible condition! Holes in the ceiling, bathroom doors that won't close or lock, exposed wiring in holes outside the elevator door, etc.
This hotel is an absolute embarrassment to the Holiday Inn Express franchise system and should be removed from their system.
I am demanding a full refund from either Expedia or Holiday Inn Express! Instead of a roomy suite, we crammed 4 adults into 2 average size queen beds (one with my adult daughter and her adult son!) in this pathetic excuse for a hotel! Again, I am demanding a full refund from either Expedia or Holiday Inn Express! And assurance from Expedia that this will never happen again!
