The kilometer-long white beach of the Baltic Sea can be reached by car directly in the [nbsp] artists' village Ahrenshoop and in the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow. By bike or on foot is the most beautiful route through the Darsswald to the wild and romantic West Beach, which is one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world.
Other destinations include the attractive seaside resort of Zingst, the historic harbor town of Barth and the cities of Stralsund and Rostock.
The third largest German national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft is one of the most important tourist destinations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Of particular interest is the steady changes in the coast, which is also known as the autumnal resting place of cranes. For bird watching and forest lovers Darß is thus an important goal
