Resort style living in The Villages, Florida! Imagine waking up to a beautiful Florida sunrise while overlooking the 18th hole of the Southern Oaks Championship Golf Course; one of the newest championship golf courses in the Villages, FL. This expanded Indigo- 10 model is golf front & waterfront designer pool home within walking distance to Sawgrass Grove awaits you.


Sit outside on the screened-in, 16' high expansive lanai and look out over the 40 foot by 22 foot sports pool which fronts the golf course. The pool is 3’6” to 4’ deep and features a sun shelf 8’ by 22’ across with 6 in pool chairs & 2 cocktail tables with umbrellas. No need to go to a sports pool to do water aerobics, swim or play water volleyball when you can do all of that in your very own private pool! Or, enjoy the privacy of your own pool to just float the day away on the provided pool rafts.

At night, turn on the overhead color changing LED lights, grab a cocktail out of the beverage fridge, turn on the gas firepit & listen to the music from Sawgrass Grove on your own lanai. A solar heater will keep the water temperature just right even at night. No need to "go" inside, there's an outdoor cabana with hot & cold shower, changing area, toilet and sink. A Weber stainless steel gas grill and beverage refrigerator allow you to store your favorite beverages outside and grill up some steaks. There’s a 4 seat dining table, 6 seat firepit dining table, 4 seats at the bar; 2 seats around the firepit; 4 seats at the high table; and 2 additional seats outside the primary bedroom.


Once inside, you'll find beautiful, white Lexington House designer furniture in all rooms of the house. The dining table seats 8 and there's 4 kitchen counter stools for informal dining. The kitchen features GE stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook and enjoy a great meal. Pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, dishes and spices are all provided. The butler’s pantry just off the kitchen includes all the small kitchen appliances you need as well as GE front loader washer & dryer.


Custom closets reaching to the 10' ceiling provides plenty of storage in all bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a super comfy Temperpedic king size bed. The primary bath has dual sinks, lots of cabinetry, a large walk in shower and pocket door separating the toilet area. The second and third bedrooms feature queen Temperpedic beds and their own full bathrooms. The front guest bedroom & bathroom can be separated from the rest of the home by pocket doors adding privacy to your guests’ stay. The front guest bathroom has a walk-in shower. The second guest bathroom is located just outside the second guest bedroom and has a shower with tub.


Wi-fi internet access will keep you connected. Samsung flat screen tvs are included in the family room, primary bedroom and on the lanai. The included streaming tv service gives you access to all local stations across the US as well as entertainment and sports channels.


All linens as well as pots and pans are provided for your use. Simply bring your clothing, toiletries, golf clubs and tennis or pickleball rackets and you'll be ready to enjoy the Villages lifestyle.


Neighborhood Overview:

Cason Hammock is one of the newest communities in The Villages located south of Route 44 near the Ezell Regional Recreation Center. This home overlooks the 18th hole of the Southern Oaks Championship course and also features water views. Walk down the golf cart path or jump in the Yamaha golf cart included in your rental & take a ride over to Sawgrass Grove which includes Sawgrass Market & Sawgrass Pub located just across the street. Sawgrass Market features pizza, hamburgers, fish, the Villages Grown fresh fruits & vegetables, a high end butcher shop, baker, coffee shop and the Southern Oaks Pro Shop. Ezell Recreation Center, Clifton Cove putting course, indoor & outdoor exercise equipment and pickleball courts are also located just across the street. Just across the Bexley Bridge and opened in October 2024 are the Laurel Oak 9 hole executive course and the 18 hole Live Oak pitch and putt course.

The Brownwood Towne Square is a short golf cart ride away and features nightly entertainment, dining and retail stores. Edna's on the Green features informal dining, beer and wine bar and nightly music under beautiful, big trees. The Fenney Grille is another favorite local place where you can eat and drink poolside if you like.

Nearby Magnolia Plaza is accessible by golf cart and features Publix grocery store, 7-11 convenience store with gas, Salon Jaylee (hair), a nail salon, Reville (breakfast and lunch), Marco's pizza, Chinese food, BBQ, McDonald's, and a coffee shop.

Lake Deaton Plaza features a Publix grocery store, Piesano’s pizza & Italian food, hair salon, banking, pharmacy and gas station.

In the construction phase now and expected to open in the summer of 2025 is the Eastport Town Square which will be located just across the Bexley Trail bridge from Cason Hammock. Eastport will feature championship and executive courses, a golf teaching academy and driving range, nightly entertainment, Publix grocery store, shopping and restaurants, Central Lake where you can watch the sun set from Sunset Island or head out for a paddle in a dragon and more wonderful activities inside the various recreation centers and outside at the outdoor activities. There will be indoor pickleball courts, walking and biking trails, a softball complex and more of the best you can expect here in the Villages.

Love supporting the local high school teams? Visit the brand new Villages Charter High School complex and root on the various teams including Friday night football. The family neighborhood of Middleton will include a downtown area with various retailers.

Nearby Golf:

The closest championship courses are: Southern Oaks (outside the lanai doors), Shallow Creek, Evans Prairie and Belle Glade. The closest executive golf courses are: Laurel Oak, Loblolly, Longleaf, Red Fox, Gray Fox, & Lowlands. The Eastport area is currently under construction will bring new championship and executive courses, a teaching academy and driving range.


Area Overview:

The Village of Cason Hammock is easily accessible from the Florida Turnpike and is located approximately 49 miles from the Orlando International Airport and 65 miles from the Tampa International Airport. Grocery shopping is a golf cart ride away at Magnolia Plaza. Fun day trips include the Disney properties, Mt. Dora's waterfront and quaint shops, Ocala and the beautiful horse farms and especially the World Equestrian Center and the Gulf Coast Beaches and waterways including Crystal River and Homosassa. A Tenant Guide will be supplied via email after your booking and a copy printed for your use which outlines many of the great things to do around the Villages.

Getting Around:

All Villages amenities are accessible by golf cart. There is a Villages GPS App available for download for a nominal fee that is highly recommended. Directions are available for travel on foot, by golf cart or car.

Cleaning & Pet Services:

You’re on vacation; leave the cleaning to us! Tenants have the option of having the home professionally cleaned weekly or every two weeks for $350 per cleaning. Starter cleaning supplies have been provided if you prefer to do it on your own. Executive chef and meal preparation options are also available for additional fees. And, if you’re going to be out enjoying the Villages or surrounding areas all day, I have references for pet sitters to assist with your pet. Dog walking & overnight pet care services are available for additional fees.
