AMAZING VIEWS! A third-floor ocean view condominium at Carolina Beach on Pleasure Island. Overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and a beautifully landscaped swimming pool. There is no elevator. From the living room or porch, you can enjoy the morning sunrise over the ocean; check out dining and music at the North End pier; or contemplate a relaxing swim in the pool or ocean! Later, visit the boardwalk, pick a place to eat at one of the many local restaurants, visit Fort Fisher Aquarium and Fort Fisher, or hop over to Wilmington to visit the Cape Fear waterfront activities and all the shopping.

HOME FEATURES: Home sleeps four and features one bedroom with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. One and one half baths with custom bowl sinks and tile flooring. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry area with washer and dryer. LVP flooring, Wi-Fi and premium cable TV service. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach games, wait your enjoyment in porch closet! Adirondack table and chair set on the porch for comfy views!

TURTLES and the OCEAN BREEZE welcome you at the entry door which opens to the front porch with beach and pool overlook. Open the porch closet door to access fishing, beach, and pool supplies. Sliding glass door leads inside unit.

LIVING ROOM contains a sofa which converts to a foldout queen size bed. Two bar height chairs, a folding reclaimed wood leaf dining table with two chairs, and a side chair allows seating for seven. Wall mounted TV allows for cable TV viewing with upgraded channel selection package. Custom designed reclaimed wood bar provides the finishing touch.

BATHROOM features a custom waterfall faucet and bowl mounted on a beautiful granite countertop. Driftwood supports polished oak shelf. Custom tiled floor and accent tiled walls with bead board and sand colored walls relax and remind you that you are at the beach. Shower and tub combination.

BEDROOM has plenty of room for clothes and bathing suits. Additional TV for watching from the comfy king bed. A view of marshlands through the window. Washer and dryer in laundry room. Vented shelving in closet. The bedroom also features a custom waterfall faucet and ceramic bowl mounted on granite countertop. The extra sink allows guests to get ready in parallel and make that dinner reservation.

KITCHEN has all stainless-steel appliances. Oven and stove, microwave, toaster, lots of pots and pans, dishes and glassware, refrigerator with ice maker, steel sink, and ultra quite dishwasher. Countertops are Silestone in a pleasing beach stone design.

COFFEE, TEA, and SNACK STATION provided for guests to enjoy!

Beach access directly across the street although it can be a block towards town at times due to beach erosion.

Loved our stay at Pelican’s Perch! Good stay! Our host was easy to work with. Good view of the ocean. This property was very well stocked! Easy walk to the beach. The unit is on the third floor so be ready to walk the steps up. May be difficult for some.

Had a wonderful sister’s week even though it did rain every day. Not owners fault . It has a nice enclosed private balcony that we spent a LOT of time on. The condo was super clean and you could tell the owners do everything they can to make sure your stay is comfortable. The snacks and coffee were a pleasant surprise. Condo has comfortable beach chairs and umbrella plus almost anything you need for a beach day. Can’t say enough good things about this little place! Just make sure if you have any physical problems there are many steps to go up and down which the owner disclosed.

Great stay at Pelicans Perch!

This is an awesome condo for 2 people. Very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only (very minor detail)
 no outside gorillas as advertised and all cutting knives need to be replaced or sharpened. I would highly recommend this condo.

Nice get away

Amazing as always

This is my third time staying here. I definitely will continue to recommend this place. It’s always clean and cozy. The beach entrance down the street was roped off for some reason so I did walk a bit further down which I didn’t mind at all. This condo is in a quiet part of Carolina beach. So it is perfect for a solo getaway or a vacation with your friends or partner.

The condo was exactly like the description. A perfect quiet and clean perch with great views of the ocean. The beach access was closed directly in front of the condo so we walked down two streets and were able to access the beach. The place does not have an elevator so be prepared to carry all you stuff up several flights. Phew, I was tired by the time the car was unloaded so I don’t recommend for someone who has difficulty with stairs or accessibility issues. The bulb in the living room lamp had burnt out, but there was plenty of lightning for evening board games.We had a relaxing weekend and would stay again!

The place was very clean and it has a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and living room space! The owners got back to me right away when I had a question, I only wish I had taken more time to stay! Very comfortable and homey!

September Vacation at Carolina Beach

The space was just right. Great view from the 3rd floor deck or inside from the kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Owners made me feel like I was a friend staying at their beach condo.They left snacks, a filled medicine cabinet, plenty of towels, toiletries. Close to beach whichever way you choose to walk down Carolina Beach Ave.

Light packing beach trip

We came for the weekend for one last beach trip to close out the summer. Everything was clean, functioning, and well stocked. We usually have to pack all the extra beach gear, but found out it was all available at the condo (beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys). It may be a small thing but favorite part was coffee on the porch each morning, with the ocean view though a picture frame window.

Beautiful Place and View

I’ve stayed here twice in a row now, and had an even better time than the last. My sister came with me this year, and everything was perfect. We stayed for a little over a week and this was a nice place to relax in between outings to the beach. It’s on the quiet side of Carolina Beach which we love. You have amazing views and pretty quick access to the beach even with the access right across the street closed. We both spent a lot of time on the deck reading, looking out on the water, storm watching, and I even got lucky with dolphin sightings. It was a little dusty under the bed but that’s the only thing I could think of that would need improved. They supply a bit of snacks, coffee and hot chocolate mixes (which were amazing). I will definitely be back next year!

A week of weather.

So my stay ended up being smack in the middle of a hurricane. However while this was limiting in some regards, I enjoyed my stay. The condo was quaint, some corners a little small for a rotund man like myself. In particular the bathroom door from the bedroom that lead to the shower was a tight squeeze to get to the shower. But that is the only downside for myself. The view from the living room was nice,. Everything clean, ect.
