I really enjoyed the location being just a block from the lake and within walking distance of parks, trails, the college, a farmer’s market and fun shops. The host had great taste and decorated the house in seasonal decor. Just right for our party of 3.

My son and I stayed here for family weekend at Grace College. We also brought our pup. We just loved it. A quiet street and well appointed. We particularly loved the fireplace since the first snow of the season happened while we were here. So beautiful. We watched football and played board games and ate great food at local restaurants. We will definitely stay again
 Probably just leave the dog at home next time.

Winona Lake was a gem. It was the perfect town for our little get away. Boutique stores, trails and history, great food (can recommend River coffee shop) and Oak and Alley restaurant (Warsaw). Pottery store holds classes. And the wagon Wheel theatre held their youth production. Amazing talent. The Trailside BNB was the perfect venue for our stay. The owners made you feel very welcome. The little touches - brochures, games, and so much more made our stay feel spa like. Clean and cozy. We both enjoyed the front porch and the propane fireplace, in the chilly fall evening. Many thanks to our hosts We hope to come back, again.

Such a relaxing view of the woods across the street. Loved hearing all the wildlife. Enjoyed hiking the nearby woods. Close proximity to Winona Lake where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The house was very comfortable & relaxing. I would definitely rent again.

Every time I opened a kitchen Cabinet a new surprise! Well stocked amenities! Just one suggestion a step stool for us’ins under 5’2. I did look for one. That’s why the spice’s weren’t put back exactly in the correct spot. I didn’t use the table stool again. My balance on the knee barely worked the first time.The house with the overgrown garden 
.to bad it’s outside your back door. Nice back porch and sitting areas. I loved sitting on the front porch and relaxing with coffee and a book. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen!Thanks again for a great stay!!!

Nice, clean, fully updated, little cottage with all amenities in a quaint little village. Perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway. Everyone we met was so friendly and polite. If staying be sure to stop at Trailhouse and rent a bike!

This is an immaculate home. It is very close to some nice trails. It is close to the park at Winona Lake, who’s is a GREAT park with a splash pad, pickle ball and tennis courts, a nice playground and even a sandy beach area. The kitchen is really well stocked. A roomy 2 bedroom. Great place to stay.

Location Qualit Outstanding!

This was a perfect cottage experience - the house itself is so charming and well kept but what puts it over the top is the location! It is literally minutes from the wonderful forest trails or the lake. You can't go wrong with a walk in either direction! And it is an easy walk to the beach park and Village! I stayed two weeks to work on a writing project and could have stayed longer. Two of my favorite features of the house are the electric fireplace indoors and the gas fire pit on the porch. And the fact that they welcome dogs is a wonderful accommodation. All communication was fast and responsive to help with some issues that needed attention. I hope to return!

Fall in Winona

The property is very comfortable and quiet within easy walking distance of the shops in Winona. Everything was beautiful and casual and brand new. Our stay was too short and we look forward to returning.
