Romantic Luxury Chalet With Private Pool

Look no further. This quiet, private and very romantic chalet exudes character, luxury and charm.

Peaceful, cozy and secluded at the end of a quiet, wooded cul-de-sac, the Chalet is the perfect getaway for a much-needed private weekend for two. Yet you're only 7 minutes driving time to the Village Green in the middle of town.

This rustic, warmly appointed, 625 square foot second story chalet features 18’ cathedral ceilings, a magnificent stone fireplace with realistic electric element, wide plank floors, a private balcony overlooking the private pool... and a super comfy four-poster queen size bed to ensure your restful weekend in the country. Also included are high speed Internet, 200-channel satellite TV and a robust iPod-compatible Bose stereo system.

The Chalet has its own private driveway and entrance. A 40' foot breezeway separates the second story Chalet from the main house, ensuring privacy and quietude.

The 18'x36' heated saline pool features deliciously soft water and is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with September access subject to weather conditions. There's also a romantic poolside Mediterranean-style pergola with a gas grill, refrigerator and bluestone bar so you can enjoy a casually shaded mid-day lunch or dine in rustic luxury under the stars.

We're only 3 minutes to the acclaimed Red Onion restaurant, just 5 minutes from Woodstock's popular Cucina ristorante, and 6 to the elegant Silvia restaurant . Another 60 seconds and you're at the Village Green, where you can enjoy many other dining and entertainment venues. And, of course, shopping! ; ) Just up Rock City from the Green is Woodstock's swanky Good Night restaurant.

For all you music fans, we're "right around the corner" from the legendary Levon Helm's Barn, home of the Midnight Ramble and some of the best music in the area and just several minutes from Colony, a former 1920s hotel and current bar, restaurant and music venue. Check their websites for available performances.

Well-behaved pets less than 50 # are welcome (subject to approval) with $25 fee (per pet/night) and/or nominal $59 VRBO damage insurance, which is contracted directly with them.

Sorry, but pets are not allowed in the pool.

We wanted a short getaway in Woodstock NY- We found a cute Chalet with all the amenities! We have a little 7 pound fur baby- she loved it! Host located on site, but private enterance with a great security system-- it was a fully loaded studio apartment! Amazing rustic feel! Hop' Skip and a jump away from Woodstock ! The grounds are beautiful ! We will definitely be back!

Charming Chalet
A very beautifully appointed log cabin type chalet. Although this place is above a garage attached to the main house, you would never know it. The owner took great pains in keeping this separate from the house and you can clearly appreciate all the work that went into this lovely place. Certainly a space for 2, we stayed for a couple of days to unwind from our hectic schedules. It was so quiet that we now understood the sound of silence. It rained for an entire day of our stay but it didn’t matter as we just remained all cozy inside. The place is literally minutes from Tinker St in Woodstock proper and so it was extremely convenient to be able to walk around and eat and shop and be back to the chalet in no time. The owner Rich, was very accommodating and provided very helpful information about the area as well as complete directions on how to operate the stereo, television, induction oven, etc. There were even makeup wipes to remove your makeup in the bathroom. While this trip was in the winter there is a beautiful inground pool which I’m sure would be fabulous in the warmer weather. We really loved the place and had such a restful and relaxing time.

We found the place exactly as billed.Charming, quiet, self contained. It has everything you need! The architecture of the unit is really impressive, high ceilings and windows. The bed is comfortable, and the fireplace is beautiful. It’s really relaxing to be there. Richard was really helpful with suggestions, we used a lot of his restaurant recs! Would definitely come again!

Beautiful property!
We had a fantastic stay at this chalet! It is an adorable place- it feels like you’re in a log cabin in the mountains. It has everything you need to stay a couple nights or weeks- a little refrigerator, an induction cooktop, a microwave, a toaster oven- whatever you’re wanting to make you can do it here! The property is beautiful and close to tons of gorgeous hiking trails. Richard provides a super helpful google doc that I referred to a ton during our trip and was extremely responsive to any questions we had or anything we needed. The only downside is we don’t live closer so we can’t come more often- this place is a treat!
