"TRANKWILLA“! New 2 bedroom self-catering apartment on the 3rd floor of a small complex with only 10 apartments. Large comfortable living-/dining area, very bright, with fully equipped kitchen incl. dishwasher. Electric stove for cooking so no need to change gas bottles as otherwise on Gozo.
Large sun terrace with distant sea views, sun from around 10am to sunset, and one of the fewer large pools suitable and deep enough for swimming. Sun umbrella and deck chairs available, also around pool.
2 bedrooms (1x double bed 160cm, 1x 2 twin beds, cot), 1x sofa double bed in living room.

The apartment "Trankwilla" is located on the outskirts of Xaghra in a quiet rural location (36°3'24.99"N, 14°16'23.14"E). The most beautiful beach on Gozo, Ramla Bay, is within 15 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by car, as is the Piazza of Xaghra with many cozy restaurants, terraces and ATM. The pre-historic temple complex of Ggantija is just a few minutes walking from there.
Small supermarkets in close proximity, 5 min. walking or 3 min. by car, almost daily grocery bus directly in front of the house. Lots of other shopping possibilities plus Lidl and Greens supermarkets in the island capital Victoria, about 5 min. by car. Bolt app for taxi rides is available on Gozo, Bolt Food and Wolt for restaurant and grocery deliveries. Many sights of Gozo can be reached within 10-15 minutes by car.
Bus stop in vicinity of the house with bus connections all over the island of Gozo and to the harbour of Mgarr for ferries to Malta, with the pretty island capital Valletta and other places of interest, ferry crossing only 25 min.
Dive centres in Marsalforn 10 min. by bike or 3 min. by car. Boat excursions to Comino in the harbour of Mgarr. Hop-on Hop-off bus around the island or by mountain bike round the island trips in 3-4 hours depending on route. Many wonderful hiking possibilities on Gozo, booklet with 10 routes in the apartment.

What a fabulous apartment. Clean, well equipped and a lovely quiet location but not too far from shops bars and restaurants. The apartment was so comfortable, in particular the beds. The pool area is spotless and a lovely area to spend time in. Anita and Mark are very communicative and Nick who met us at the apartment is lovely and so helpful. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. You won’t regret it!

great apartment

Clean and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the terrace and the pool was perfect. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. We have stayed in Xaghra before, the apartment's location is great for a walk to Ramla beach. It’s a steep climb back up but there is a bus if you’re not up for it. The owners and Nick the agent were all super helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. All together a brilliant stay.

Beautiful appartment with a really nice view!

The appartment is perfect for a family with two children or teenagers. It is very well equiped and the view is really beautiful. We used the big balcony to watch the sunset in the evening. The pool is also very beautiful and clean. Almost all the scenic parts of Gozo can be easily reached in 15 to 20 minutes and the beach in Ramla Bay is very close by. 5 stars are well deserved.

Wonderful house with a view

The apartment is very good and clean, well furnished and comfortable. The way to the beach is not 10min walk (is more than that) and to the center village is very close but car is advisable. The beach is very beautiful.

Wasn’t as clean as I would of expected and was a little shocked that we were expected to clean the apartment and wash the towels and bedding ourselves as we were staying for two weeks, which I thought was poor service based on previous experience. Nick the manager was lovely and very helpful.

Perfect Xaghara home base

Trankwilla apartment is perfectly situated and equipped for a pleasant stay in Gozo. The living space is comfortable for relaxing after a day of touring, swimming at the nearby local beaches, or rock climbing as was our pleasure. The spacious and bright living room, and best of all, well equipped kitchen were better than expected. It was always easy to park near the apartment and the apartment was easy to get to in all directions. The place was clean and check in easy. We highly recommend!

Fantastic apartment with a great view

The apartment is very spacious and modern with the most amazing sunset every night. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities, and we cooked dinner several evenings. We loved to sit on the big sun terrace and enjoy the wonderful views and the silence. Spacious bedrooms with very good and comfortable beds. Everything in the apartment is brand new, and we really liked the ACs that were very quiet. We arrived by car, and the check-in went smoothly. Nick was very helpful and could even provide some nice suggestions for sightseeing in Gozo. Easy to find a parking space very close to the apartment. Wonderful pool area with sunbeds. The pool is very clean. Approx. 10 min. walk to the city centre with nice restaurants. We had a great stay in Trankwilla.

Wonderful modern apartment with a large sunny terrace and 10-15 mins walk to town and Ramla Beach

We had a fantastic time in Trankwilla this October. Everything in the apartment was fresh and modern and done with good taste. We could see beforehand that the sun terrace was a good size and we were delighted to find that it caught the sun from about 11:00 a.m. until the end of the day. We tended to walk down to the beach in the morning and then stay on the terrace or around the pool for the afternoon if the weather allowed. The town is about 10 mins walk away and there you will find a lovely square surrounded by good restaurants and local bars. Gozo is so much nicer than Malta, so we were pleased with our choice of location as this was our first visit. We had a young child with us and I always felt the apartment was a very safe environment for her. We had a hire car since the ferry cost to Gozo is very cheap and we used that to visit the sights and shop at Lidl etc., but it isn't essential if you are prepared to use the buses. The checking in service went very smoothly and Nick was there to meet us at midnight on the day of our arrival and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. I think the entry via the key press would have worked easily also, but we didn't want to take the risk at that time of night.

Ruim en schoon apartement met goede voorzieningen.

We hebben erg genoten van het heerlijke balkon en geweldige uitzicht. Ook van de rust. De plek is goed; rand vh dorp maar vlakbij mooie wijngaarden en t strand.
