The exterior, location and grounds are spectacular. The room I stayed in was worn and tired. Ceiling in the bathroom was stained with mildew. Go in with that expectation and you’ll enjoy your stay.

Best hotel in Gulangyu

Perhaps the only legitimate hotel in Gulangyu. The hotel is located right next to Shuzhuang Garden & Piano Museum, boasting scenic view of the bay area & sunlight rock. Its prime location is also highlighted by the fact that nursing home for retired government officials is situated a couple blocks away. The services in general exceeded my expectations. Staffs are very attentive and caring. Breakfast was good (mostly Chinese food though). My room seemed well maintained. Free shuttle from/to the ferry is also available upon request. A couple of downsides are that the building & facilities are a bit old and that the staffs don't speak English with the exception of 1 or 2. Overall I had a great time at the hotel and would most definitely recommend Marine Garden to anyone visiting Gulangyu.

酒店距離碼頭有20分鐘以上，建議事前聯系酒店職員安排接駁車。相對地，酒店去沙灘很近，晚上去吹吹風不成問題。早餐一般，露天庭園倒不錯，亦有不少長椅。員工態度友善，房間還送水果。最大的敗筆是設施老舊，酒店沒有昇降機，花灑的水力不足，房間有霉味（鼻敏感足足流了一天鼻水）

名符其實的海上花園酒店

這次家庭出遊時間很緊，沒查什麼攻略，只想住的要舒適，離海灘要近，第一個就看上了海上花園酒店，希望在這個海上花園遊玩同樣住海上花園酒店，雖然酒店年數不少了，但還是很整洁舒服的，特別是我們一到碼頭，大大小小九個人，天氣又炎熱，老老小小的都沒法走去酒店時，打電話給酒店，剛好有電瓶車來，因沒有提前預約，不能全部坐，但都非常的感謝可以讓老的和小的坐回酒店的，下次還會入住這家酒店，服務态度也很好，早餐也不錯。是一家很棒的酒店。
