This stay was a true Yakima haven. I grew up in Yakima (West Valley) and am very familiar with the area. This was a short drive to a big escape. It's 5 minutes from two local grocery stores and restaurants but feels a world away. This is a quintessential farmhouse in design- simple and open. But the space was inviting and had every comfort you can think of. We traveled with my elderly mother who was very comfortable on the main floor. We used the master bedroom and bath upstairs and it was extremely comfortable. Coffee outside in the morning, a glass of wine outside in the evening allowed lovely views of Yakima. The pictures clearly show all the amenities, but don't quite capture how comfortable our stay was. If you are traveling with children, the yard is ideal for play. We will be coming back.
