Well located hotel with good facilities

The hotel is fantastically located next to the station and within walking distance of Kajo park. The room was clean and a lot larger than many other business hotels in Japan. The breakfast was decent with a variety of options to suit most diners as well.

I would give the staff 10 stars if possible! Everyone on staff was excellent. If I could change one thing with the hotel, I would ask for the non-smoking rooms to be priced the same as the smoking rooms.

The front office is very good hospitality. Upon arriving 1pm. The room is ready for my check in. Has coffee provided at the lobby and good breakfast in the morning. Will consider again to stay there next time if I go to Yamagata.

I happened to have a thing left behind at this hotel. Upon contact, the hotel staff immediately reacted with trained manner. My thing had been delivered to my H.Q. in this trip without any charges in 2 days. It was more than 1000km away! I phoned for Thanking and found that attended person knew all this case was about. Impressed.

Great place to stay on the way to yamadera

Decor is very 1980s but of good quality and very well maintained. Staff and location could not have been better.

Convenient and comfortable

Staff were very helpful and polite. Check in was a breeze even though I arrived close to midnight! There is even an open air hot bath on the rooftop and the rooms were well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Very near the JR Yamagata station.

A station handy value-for-money business hotel !!

As with Japanese business hotels generally, the room was tiny, but great value for money, handy to the station, and a yummy complimentary breakfast albeit with a mainly Japanese twist - but still plentiful and tasty.

Excellent Hotel Service. Location Very Convenient

I had mistakenly booked my reservations for the night before our actual stay. The hotel staff was very understanding and agreed to simply transfer our reservation to that night. Also, they held our bags for us when we arrived early, so we could go sightseeing. When we arrived back at the hotel our bags were waiting for us in our rooms. Just a great hotel and I will be sure to look for Route Inn for all future trips to Asia.
