"Really beautiful facility overlooking Lake Ashie. A two minute walk from the hotel to the Archie Lake boat excursion,and the cable car excursion, which is definitely not to be missed. . But the best part is extremely helpful staff throughout the facility, who are fluent in English, very pleasant. I go out of their way to be helpful. "The hotel description is very misleading. The rooms are extremely small, and the double room is one tiny bed (the same size as one bed in a twin room). The decor is extremely outdated, the bathroom is tiny, and you cannot change the heating in the room by yourself meaning it is either too cold or too hot. You need to call reception to adjust the temperature. The Onsen was fine. Definitely very overpriced for what you get."
