Amazing stay

The hotel is in an amazing position overlooking the Clarence River. There is a lovely bbq area where you can enjoy watching trawlers head out to sea and watch pelicans fly in. The unit has been recently refurbished with great views. Very quiet.

Our ground floor unit was excellent. Good size, well equipped & with great outlook over the river. Is very short drive to town centre, but in nice weather would be plesant 20-30 walk. Would highly recommend.

Great stay at Moby Dicks

We had a beautiful room on the first floor, overlooking the lake. Lovely big balcony. Great kitchen area well equipped and a huge bathroom. 1/2 hour walk into Yamba along the river, lots of gekko’s sunbathing on the rocks. You can walk on further to the Breakwater and watch the surfers to your right on Pippi Beach and Dolphins to your left. Just beautiful. Yamba has lots of nice eating places, we went to Jacko’s one night and The Mexican the next, both places served amazing food and had a great atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay. Pros: Nice rooms and clean with lovely views, great amenities and a nice feel. It had ENORMOUS mugs which made for a lovely tea/coffee each morning overlooking the water. Cons: The kitchen was under-equipped with no Tupperware or containers to put open food in. The shower definitely could be better. It’s got an enormous rain shower head and no pressure so it’s very hard to wash shampoo out. Also it was hot and cold the whole shower. The loud irrigation starting at 5am was an annoying each morning and could have been better to go from 10pm or similar so it doesn’t wake the whole place up. And the jetty can’t be used as it’s in ruins. Overall we would definitely return as it’s a lovely place for a comfy holiday with beautiful views. We will be back 🙂
