Located steps (2 minute walk) from Long Sands Beach, with the roar of the ocean audible and the ocean visible from the premises and minutes from Portsmouth, Ogunquit, and Kittery, ME, this immaculate, sunny, air conditioned, 3 bedroom/1.5 bath is the perfect summer oasis. New Not pictured queen & trundle bed 2nd for guest bed And deck furniture. Suitable for families.

Freshly repainted interior, refinished wood floors that shine in the Sun, and updated Living Room furniture provide a relaxing living area for you to unwind. All new major appliances not in photos (replaced 2/2020). The kitchen is well stocked with quality housewares.

The main floor is comfortable and roomy with great exposure to the Sun in the afternoon. The living room has new couches, chairs, ROKU Streaming with Direct TV and WiFi There is a new electric fireplace and a technology bar that seats 3. The bedrooms have new pillows and linens.

No traffic worries, no parking hassles, no meters to feed. Unpack and relax or visit the many area attractions. Four restaurants are within easy walking distance. Kids - no worries. Plenty to do for everyone. There is an Arcade an easy bike ride or walk away. Bike rentals, raft and umbrella rentals, surfboarding and paddle board lessons all located on Long Sands Beach. York's Wild Kingdom Park, the famous Nubble Lighthouse, and downtown York with the plethora of unique shops are all within 2.5 miles of our home. There are many other area attractions including hiking, bike paths, and boat excursions, as well as the famous Cliff Walk and Perkin's Cove. We provide a book at our home listing many of the attractions and activities for your convenience.

This refurbished home is the perfect summer rental. We have picnic tables, a gas grill, and Adirondack chairs for guest outside use. We have also supplied 4 beach chairs & 8 Beach Towels for your convenience. It is ample off-street parking.

*1st Floor: Living room, Kitchen and Guest Bedroom/Queen bed, 1/2 Bath

*2nd Floor: Master Bedroom/Queen bed, Guest bedroom Double bed & 1 Twin Bed, Full Bath and Laundry (Guest bedroom picture has not been updated)


$500 damage /cleaning deposit (security)
If left clean and undamaged the deposit is fully refunded.

Note Additional Fees: VRBO sets the Service Fee. Lodging Taxes are set by the State of Maine. Both are collected and remitted by HomeAway.

Cottage is in a great location close to the beach. Bedrooms are nice and big, however it should be mentioned that the host requires you to clean and wash all linen before departure. Owner does not use any additional cleaning company. Also, fire alarms went off two nights in a row in the middle of the night, but owner came and installed all new alarms. After our check out, I received a damage claim for the stove which we did not use a single time during our stay without any message or inquiry from the owner.

Comfortable stay near Long Sands

This is a nice house with plenty of space for a family and great amenities (laundry, A/C) for a summer stay in York. We've been visiting York for many years and this is one of the nicer places we've stayed. It's an easy walk to the south end of Long Sands, and a quick drive to downtown York.

After 2 years of being "land locked" we came back to York to enjoy beach and surf. good location, quick walk to the beach.

Fall getaway

Property was well maintained and close to the water. Unit was not handicapped accessible with shower on second floor. A full cleaning was expected upon leaving, yet we had to sweep on the first night finding hairs and dirt on the floors. Condiments and staples were available for use, which was very nice.

Location and Cleanliness is key

Amazing location and the house was clean. Had everything we needed including a handicap shower chair we didn’t even think of. Host was amazing. Will definitely be staying again if we go back to Maine.

Christmas Shopping

Great location close to Kennebunkport, Kittery, ogunquit, and Portsmouth NH. Great time shopping for Christmas presents in quaint, little towns. Close to the beach for a nice morning or afternoon walk. The property was clean and well stocked. It was a little unusual to have to wash all the bed linens and towels which makes it difficult to check out by 11 AM. Would definitely book this property again but would bring my own bed linens next time.

Wedding guest weekend getaway

I stayed at this property this past weekend to attend a wedding at the York Harbor Inn. The location of this property is great, only a 4 minute drive to the wedding venue and you can see the ocean from the end of the driveway. It’s a quick 2 minute walk to the beach and there are sidewalks everywhere to safely walk along the ocean and to restaurants. The house is outfitted with everything you could need and allowed for plenty of space with four adults. The owner, Kathy, responded quickly to questions and graciously allowed us to check in early and check out late during our stay. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to York!

Great private location!

Kathleen was a wonderful host who communicated everything we needed to know to make our stay perfect. Spotless, well appointed space with thoughtful touches throughout. She provided many extras that we hadn’t even thought of! Very close to the beach-less than a 5 minute walk. Plenty of parking and child friendly. We definitely will come back!!

Great York Beach Vacation

Very nice location to beach.(only a short walk!) Property was very clean and well equipped with extras to borrow such as beach towels and beach chairs. House felt very secure and safe. The electric fireplace was an added bonus on a chilly evening. Enjoyed our stay here very much!

Great York Beach condo

Our family enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was very clean and updated. The condo was very close to the beach so We could come and go throughout the day. There are restaurants and ice cream within walking distance as well. Very nice stay!

Charming Home Around the Corner from the Beach

The house was beautiful and the location Provided easy access to the beach. Owners provided all the amenities we could ask for and could not have been more hospitable, even providing suggestions of things to do on a rainy day. Great time at a great house.
