Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Quiet hours 10:00PM-8:00AM. No gatherings or parties with non-guests on premises. If spills on patio, clean immediately with light detergent. If grill is used, please tighten valve to off position.
Replace used lengths of firewood. Return keys to lockbox after locking up. $25 fee for lost/ misplaced keys.
Place trash and recycling in bins outside next to basement egress prior to departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The wood stove is complicated. Smoke damage billed extra $. Handle is on the side of the vent pipe. It has to be propped open. DO NOT USE IF UNSURE.
Never leave fire unattended. Ensure patio fire pit is extinguished before leaving it. DO NOT place metal cover over flames or coals. Use bit of water

Everything about this property was perfect fo our family Christmas get-together. Near the highway and the beach. Such a cute cozy cottage with a well-appointed kitchen. Everything was easy to find and use. When we had questions, the owner answered right away. They even brought us a slow cooker and put up a Christmas tree! A snack bucket was a wonderful treat too. As an EV owner, the charger was an added bonus. We plan on returning.
