Extra house stuff--

Queen bedroom & queen bunks sleeps a maximum of 4 adults. Can accommodate 2 adults and 2-3 children. Bedroom has black out curtains for day sleepers.

Pool closes at 9pm Sun-Thur;10pm Fri-Sat. Unless were up then all is good.

Bbq is a gas grill down by the pool.

There are 2 sun loungers, patio furniture, basketball goal, ping pong table and pool toys in the storage. Feel free to use entire patio and outdoor areas. The pool is surrounded on two sides by our house and many windows. Hence the closing and quiet times. But if we are up closing times can be extended when school is out. We are generally up late weekends/summers.

This is a garage apertment rental. The main house and apartment are in close proximity and we do use the garage underneath. Pecan trees give the apartment deck privacy from the main house. We will work very hard not to use the loud garage doors during your stay but may have to here and there. (If you are a day sleeper please give us a heads up)

Please hang wet clothes in the shower or on the deck hooks. Whole floor is new, laminate and easy to damage .

I don't have a cleaning fee, so please help me out with washing your dishes and keeping trash in the trash cans. :) No need to make the beds, I have to wash it all anyway.

We have hard water in the apartment. Toilet is very stained in the bowl due to this .

NO PET Policy due to other regular guest allergies (my best friends daughter), and our pets/livestock already on premises. My dogs are not accepting of other dogs but are nice yo people. I cannot refuse a service animal but please consider this if booking. I do try to keep them inside when we have guests BUT won’t be responsible for possible dog fights on my property. One pup is a Dogo Argentino.

We have chickens and 1 rooster. He crows.

This is a country stay. Don’t be be surprised if you see bugs, spiders, mice, or a snake on premises. Snakes are rare but it happens. The mice are a constant battle out here. Frogs too! They love the pool. Deer are all around, especially in the evening/early morning.

No smoking inside the apartment. I do charge if you are found smoking any type of products inside. On the deck or around the pool is fine. ~Smoking illegal substances prohibited in the pool area and inside the apartment. That smell is worse to get out than cigarettes!

We have one kayak available by request.

Goliad is a 15-18 minute drive taking the back way down FM 1726. Yorktown is about 12 minutes taking the backroads on Yorktown Slickfield Rd off FM 119.
