Expensive rooms due to monopoly at site. The Lost Camel was not the most expensive but it was right up there with one of the most expensive rooms my wife and I have ever stayed. No other options to spend the night if viewing the Rock. We had a wonderful vacation and experience. Nothing bad to say except for the huge expense for hotels rooms, rental cars, and price of bus tours.

The Lost Camel was good value - much cheaper than other nearby hotels. It had a nice pool. It was nice that it had a fridge and kettle. The hotel was clean but perhaps maintenance could be better.

The bathroom, specifically the shower stall was not clean. The shelf above where the clothes were hung was dusty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the free laundry. Quiet and peaceful facilities. Conveniently located near stores.

Room was clean and convenient. Air conditioning was more than adequate. Service at reception is great, even though the reception area closes a 5pm. Issues can be dealt with at hotel next door. They provide shuttle service to and from airport.

Overall we had a good experience with our say. On our final night, we had quite of bit of noise from coming from a neighbouring guest's room. We ended up loosing sleep on our final night. We did not have a chance to mention this concern with the staff at reception. Reception was not open. We had to get on the airport shuttle 5 minutes before reception opened. We ended up leaving our room keys in our room. Simply could not personally give it to reception staff at check out. Outside of this issue staff was very helpful with our needs extra towels, organising repairs to our room TV when the TV lost reception. The maintenance staff got our TV repaired within 2 hours.
