Villa Contessa offers its guests 3 hot tubs. WiFi is free in public spaces. A library, a terrace, and multilingual staff are also featured at Villa Contessa. Self parking is free.
Villa Contessa is a small property and it is definitely the one for you if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The views from your room are enough to want to return for another trip! The only downfall to the property (for me) was that the shower facilities were rather small. But, nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and all of the help/advice that I received from the owner, Spiros.
Lovely hotel, wonderful hospitality in a beautiful
Just 20 mins taxi ride from the airport, Villa Contessa and its wonderfully friendly owner Spiros provided the perfect base to enjoy this beautiful and peaceful part of the island. I had a balcony studio with a stunning view of the sea and the coast of the Peloponnese. The room was a good size, clean and well kept with good cooking facilities and a nice bed. Plenty of lovely beaches close by and 3 or 4 good restaurants overlooking the sea within 10 or 15 minutes walk. Spiros was the perfect host with his kindness, generosity and hospitality. Would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Excelente!!! Atendido por su dueño, atento a todo lo que pudiesemos necesitar. Nos asesoro con consejos para visitar la isla, nos recibio con vino local para degustar y como sorpresa de despedida nos regalo musica tipica de Grecia.
Great location, great host and very cosy and comfortable rooms with lovely private balcony. I can definitely recommend this place for those who wish for a relaxing, comfortable stay with a host that deeply cares for his guests.
Vila Contessa has ideal location, proximity of the beach and magnificent view. The host Spiros is very helpful, you get all info about island on your arrival On top of it there is home made wine, fruits and sweets complimentary. Will definetely go back.
Located on a green slope of a hill overlooking an emerald sea, the hotel is run by a friendly couple whose kindness is remarkable. My wife and I had a relaxing stay in room 10 on the ground floor where we had at our disposal a big patio. Just uphill, a wonderful restaurant - the Windmill - where we had a real try of greek cousine.
If you want to take a quick swim there is a little strip of beach just 400 meters away from the hotel.
This was our first trip to Zante and we picked this area becuase ot the beautiful beaches. Villa Contessa has ten apartments all with a balcony or terrace facing the sea. They are so clean and decorated with modern furniture. The couple who own the villa are extremely friendly and helpful. Treats are put in your fridge from time to time during your stay; it was such a personal touch. We will certainly return to Villa Contessa one day. To make the most of this area you need a car or moped as there is little public transport; hiring vehicles there is easy. The area is quite hilly so would be hard work for those with walking difficulties. Superb studios, and a beautiful unspolt area. Greece at its best.
The hotel and owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the beach and Monemvasia Castle. We made use of the beach across the street and we were with easy access to many tavernas. The town itself is pretty small... the main attraction being the castle and the ruins a short hike from the castle village. All sights are easily accessible by foot. The continental breakfast was very good. The owner was extremely attentive to our needs and any special requests we had (including doing some laundry for us!). Probably one of the best value for money in the area.
What can one say about Villa Contessa except that it offers everything one dreams of about their perfect holiday accommodation. We recently spent two wonderful weeks in Zakynthos and had the privilege of staying at Villa Contessa. All apartments have a stunning view of the Ionian sea with Kefallonia and the Peloponnese sitting in front of you. At times when the sea was calm you felt you could just reach the Peloponnese with your hand. We enjoyed many sunsets drinking our wine outside at the balcony while watching the fishing boats passing by and the falling stars. And what can we say about Mr. Spiros, the owner and manager of Villa Contessa except that we really felt being his friends by the end of our stay. He was there to help us from the beginning and offered advice and recommendations constantly, he really cared about us having a good time in Zakynthos.
The apartment was spotless as it was cleaned on a daily basis. It was very nice coming back in the afternoon having fresh bed sheets and towels every day. This part of the island is quiet, beautiful and very green and we would definitely recommend it to anyone who really wants to experience Zakynthos. We are not going to say anything more except that we felt really sad when we left and that's not because we were going back to work or because our holidays ended. We felt sad because we were leaving behind us Paradise on Earth, that's how beautiful this place is.
